Sorry for the quick double post but I wanted this to stand out, rather than just being an edit on my last post. I wanted to take the time to introduce Fabien, a new Community Manager here in Gameloft. He's directly in the Asphalt 8 studio with the Dev team so he'll be an awesome resource for you all as well! Anyone getting CN.Open.x drivers on their country-specific tournament boards? CN.Open.zwY and CN.Open.Fen are posting super low times (1:35:7) on the Guianna Junior D Class Cup in Canada. I realize that 1) these dudes might actually be Canadian and not routing through a proxy, and 2) 1:35:7x might be a possible time, but, if these guys are showing up in other countries too, and if the good drivers on this board are having trouble hitting, say, 1:36:x, then I think we have a problem...
I keep mine set to WW so I could not tell you in regard to country specific, we do get them all the time in the WW boards and posting very good times. That time I would say is doable FYI...I am close to that but cannot make it work to get in the 35's......its very hard to do but I feel it is possible. I will take those few people vs the entire Chinese clan though
Another weird stuff that can happen in MP : The same finish time I'm confident that i should have win because i lead in the last seconds even though it's really close. The only reason that i can think about why i lose is few miliseconds connection lag / delay when crossing the finish line. Sometime i also leave the room if i meet few hackers that i know, but i don't think that i get penalty when leaving the room eventhough it's been locked (not really sure though). Maybe there's lag in the countdown that make it didn't show up in your device, you leave when the countdown actually happen, and that's what gave you the penalty? How can one abuse the system if it doesn't even show the other players rank points? Maybe they can look for a full 8 players room, but that also doesn't guarantee that you'll win. The only reason i leave the room is if i see a cheater that make me lose any chance of winning even before playing.
How did you get low 1:36? Which way did you use after leaving the hangar? (when you see the space shuttle launching) Edit : I think china leaderboards are the most competitive one there is.
I go right and use the barrel ramp and grab the yellow and two blues...there was a bunch of refining in that run last night and in that process I could see how 35 is doable just really difficult....with that said I really prefer the runs/events that do not require managing nitro use....I like the ones that it will just be the person using the best route and doing it well and I would agree with China...they know how to run the quickest times indeed.
But the glitch in the profile system means that you don't know anyone's level. You also can't see anyone's rank until the end of the race. I think the pre-race profile should be overhauled. Fix the level glitch. Add rank. Maybe even show the car and rating that they're using (and possibly even whether they're using boosters). It'd help in pre-race planning to know what you'll be dealing with. Also, the date of last sign-on is really pointless there...it's always that day's date.
That's something that needs to be fixed and the Dev team is aware of it as far as I know. I agree that with the current bug it's hard to tell someone's level but that is the type of behavior systems like this aim to prevent. Haha, nah. Gameloft is making a big push to get more CM's involved in the community so I'm really excited to have more company on these boards It's not like I'm leaving or anything. You all can't get rid of me that easily! I understand that with the current glitch it prevents people from seeing their rank. It's something the Dev team will be working on. I'm happy to pass along this feedback to them as well. I just wanted you all to understand why this system is in place and what type of behavior it tries to prevent.

I couldn't really support Dark's feud with the guy before (people have different approaches to the game, after all), but now I'm converted. That guy is up to no good...
Yup...but I need your advice now man.... and ithink I know the answer but I am going to ask anyway..... in multi when you get matched against say Tano...or me... or someone as good and have to start a row or even two back how do you get them? or can you with out them making a mistake... Every time it matches me with him if I am lucky I am one row behind, but most of the time I am two rows behind him and it seems impossible unless he makes a mistake...lol....like us that is not often at all... I run him down every time but that presents the "he takes the bottle" routine depending on the track..... uh....I could beat him if I got the advantage or even on the start end short rant..I happen to have just lost to him again. I am all good but bums me out that I dont get the even chance I guess.
welcome back. . i did few other runs with testarossa... Now im in 15th position with 1.25.470. It's the most easy track until now. tano is mexican ? I hate they almost have the same flag as italy . of course. ok. Ryan, i have a problem... maybe you know why this is happening. This is what happens to me when i try to sign in with Google+ in the game. When i choose the level 85, the system says i can't login. There is no problem if i login with lvl 1 account, and i'm able to play of course. But all my stats are gone and i don't want to start again from the beginning. The question is... how do i remove the lvl1 account ?
