I beg to differ While I might not be in the top 100 of the leaderboards, I'm aware of the issues you all have mentioned with the Lykan. However, I will say this, I don't experience the "stick of dynamite" effect 100% all of the time. I've had to use a variety of lines in the tracks but it's not guaranteed all of the time, at least in my opinion. Also, when I showed off that car on the stream it definitely was not maxed and was my first time driving it haha! Hacks are tough and are constantly evolving. With that in mind though, the Dev team is being very proactive with countering them with each update and hotfix. I've mentioned it before, but if you run into any hacks on forums or anything that are pretty recent, please feel free to PM them to me. Several users in this thread have given me tons of information that I've relayed to the team that works on hacks. It's been awesome! I haven't found an incredibly active Android forum to be quite honest. I frequent Droid Gamers, but that goes through random spurts of activity and then it dies down. If you know of any Android sites with a very active community that I might have overlooked please feel free to message me and let me know!
If the "stick of dynamite" is crashing when it shouldn't, then I have to say it happens 100% of the times at certain points. The thing is that it's a certain point in the track, and you have to fall into it always in the same way and at the same speed for it to crash. Since this happens when the floor changes its tilt angle "abruptly" combined with the Lykan maxed out, I guess it has to do with the collision engine of the game interpreting you crash against a wall at very high speeds. Maybe devs can add an intermediate floor polygon to make the track slightly smoother there so that the engine doesn't think it's a crash situation. There's one point in the Chinese track, season 8, Lykan cup, in which I've crashed several times: right route after cliff up, landing on the square where the dragons are flying, just where the road changes from tilted to the plain square. If you happen to land just at the point where the angle of the road changes at max speed, you get a crash 100% of the times, believe me. I've done that race to death because it gives me 4.5k coins per 2-minute race, and I know every inch of the track.
Don't worry mate, I'm using also a "fake" FB account, but it isn't that fake, because I don't have a real one.I mean, I don't use Facebook for what it is meant to be used. I use it just to chat with my friends and for games like Asphalt 8,so my account name is Don Speedy;p
I think I know which track you're talking about, but if you can let me know the name it'll give me confirmation. I'll try to duplicate it later on today, because as I said earlier, I haven't had 100% crash rate on any track with my maxed out Lykan. I'd be happy to mention this to the Dev team to see if this is something they can smooth out. I'm not really sure since that's not my area of expertise but if it is something that happens all of the time when it shouldn't, it should be addressed.
Missed this earlier, but again this is something the Dev team is looking in to. I received some screenshots last week from Dark-Zero about the same issue. This definitely shouldn't be happening!
While you're mentioning things to the dev team, Ryan, be sure to tell them that the old coots on Touch Arcade are devastated by the lack of a white color option for the Testarossa. Thanks!
I promise I tried to make that as smooth as I could...I only meant that this is most common when really pushing some of these cars to the brink I figured it was not maxed and that will have a smoother look to things. In the end, I was told by some Gameloft guys that these cars (not just the Lykan) do this because of the speed/rate we move them through the game. If that is true, then a faster car should suffer from the same things was all. No riot need I have had it happen in Nevada even on a straight stretch while nitro has been on for a little while already and nothing happened, just blew up like there was a ghost car in the middle of the road or something. Most of hte time it has to do with landing and nitro at the same time and things of that nature. On that map I can have it happen in four different places all in the same lap. One is the same as yours, the other three are landing before the barrel jump that leads to the point you are talking about.....and landing off the big hill right after yours and hitting nitro, then falling into the burm after that. The Zonda R can have the same issues in the same spots on that map as well as some other cars. Particularly with the Lykan I have it happen with in all maps though... it is a bummer for sure.
I was typing my response while you did this one sir Ryan... But make sure you have boosters active, it seems to fuel the fire substantially
Talking about spontaneous combustion, freak accidents, and landing bombs how is this POSSIBLE? This is no hacker, this is against AI ?? Ryan ? Anyone ?
No problem, that's why Gameloft pays me the big bucks. To read and post on forums along with playing games. #toughlife Lol wut? How did this happen! Can you tell me some more specifics about the race? Was it during a Quick Solo Race or was it a specific event in the career mode? AI = Ultimate Hax
Sure, it was the Junior A Cup. This is the second instance I have seen this happen. First was on the Alps Rev Fxx Vs Bugatti in careers mode season 8.
Yes, I can confirm the Ferrari FXX vs Bugatti Veyron situation and it has indeed happened me more than once. I remember doing the race perfectly and in the goal line, boom Second place! I didn't even realized about the positions. And another time, I was looking at the positions and it started to flick me between first and second position (like when you take a shortcut, do a barrel spin, etc) then saw the yellow circle (that was behind me), disappear and never catching the other car again. That's my contribution, hope it helps.
The track is "The Great Wall (Classic)": season 8, Lykan car stage. Thanks for your help with this game Ryan.
I have a question. Why do when i leave a lobby before the match starts (even before the countdown) and once its "locked in" i lose 10 points? I played this guy i took a picture of (Hidosomeya in the first picture) and i lost because he was hacking. I seen him in another lobby and i left as fast as possible but the lobby locked in almost instantly so when i left i lost points. Do you know how stupid that is? Stay and lose points to a hacker or leave the lobby and lose points? Then im expected to be ok with it while he may or may not be banned. That lock in feature has done more damage than good for me. There have been countless times where im stuck in a lobby with 4 people so im automatically going to not win any points (unless they are high ranked, which is rare). Edit: I just played another hacker (second picture). Tano. Except it wasnt even him. The same guy that copied me (last time) is probably copying him or someone is. The third picture is the actual Tano and the fourth one is the fraud who keeps copying people's names. I need someone on gameloft to give me my points back, im sick of this. Im done with this bs multiplayer till it gets fixed.
Okay thanks, I've saved your screenshot and I'll forward this along to the team and see if it's been brought to their attention before. Really appreciate it! Definitely! Thanks for adding the extra info. If either of you can record footage of that happening, let me know, because that would be icing on the cake. However, I can definitely work with the text/SS's you provided me No problem, I ended up being busier than expected yesterday but I've got this on my to-do list for today so I'll be sure to check it out. If it's as race-breaking as it sounds, this should be something we iron out. Basically systems like this prevent people from lobby hopping to find favorable match-ups. For example, if X player wanted to climb the ladder he/she could abuse the matchmaking system to find players who are lower ranked than him/her by leaving lobbies until he finds that set of players. In theory, it would ensure the player would win all of the time without any penalty for dodging lobbies that are full of equal skilled players. I'm not saying you or anyone else in this thread would do that, but it's possible. That's why a system like this is in place. It's not perfect, but it encourages people to stay in a race once they are matched with other players. Plus, if there was no penalty, lobbies would fill and empty quickly if lower ranked players didn't want to race against higher ranked players.
