You can try doing flatspin with the ramp in the cave. It is really difficult, but possible and will give you quite a bit of nitro you always need.

1.47.271 with maxed maserati + all boost. There's still a lot of room for improvement, and i don't like the iceland track.
I also think that under 1.43 is only possible with the ferrari.

With a lot of these tourneys, I'm finding that if I get in early, take 10 runs and get out, it works just as well if not better than spending four hours figuring things out and then going back in again.

Just did it with the 8C (after 5 tries). You get half tank of nitro that can make some difference. But, as i said it is really difficult and i don't use it often.

This tracks sucks...let me start with that :)..... now you do have the wrong car but I think you know that and I realize you dont have the Ferrari so... Nitro is going to be very challenging in that car... if you have the Maserati I would run it before I run the Alfa...But start and knock down from the side all that you can....right side yellow markers all the way to the corner then drift to the left side...yellow markers...keep the next corner tight yellow markers barrel ramp with spin gets me three rotations but you might only get two.... save nitro for this jump if you cannot get there with out running out... right side yellow markers.... upper dirt to get yellow but fall back down to pavement dont go in that tunnel.....yellow markers and concrete blocks plus drift if you can to get into tunnels take left side.... nitro to take left ramp and spin it then take the fall through hole on the right...spin off snow mound..right side yellow markers upper blue fall back down and perfect hitting everything you can to line...... you can also cross take another blue triple triple barrel back to bottom and run through pylons to finish

    Way to go man:cool:

This is key no matter what car is used... and clean to boot

What's up folks. Just heard back on Dark Zero's issue of losing points/not getting points while in first place. Here's what they had to say...

-On being first and losing points: That shouldn't happen and they are going to look in to this issue.

-On being first and not gaining points: It's possible if the winner's rank is that much higher than the other racers. However, it looks like in the screenshot the correct rating didn't show for the opponents, so that's something that needs to be fixed.

Thanks to Dark Zero for bringing this to our attention!

I finally broke the 1:10 barrier!!! (Although barely... 109.955 but still hit my goal). It really does show how impressive Dark's runs have been because I thought I was nearly flawless and he still beat me by a half second.

What's up with the new London/ Aston Martin tourney? It's a full 4 day tourney and if you get in the top 10 out of every player in the entire world after 4 full days, you get $53,000?!? It just doesn't seem to make a lot of sense to have this long tourney with a goal that is all but impossible in having to be in the top 10 in the world and you only get 53,000 credits. We've been getting twice that for a 1 day tourney if we get in the top 400. Seems odd.

Dark, at the very beginning of the M1 tourney, do you perfect nitro off the start or do you triple as fast as possible? Thanks in advance!

Its pretty hard to improve at this point in time.

And yeah, i dont understand the tournaments but i see it as a challenge to stay in the top 10, thats extremely hard with those amazing Chinese drivers.
You have to hit a perfect nitro as quick as possible, prematurely almost. It has to be perfectly timed.

I'm guessing that in contrast to the P1 cup, "Worldwide" once again means the rest of the world. The rewards in huge markets like China or the US are probably higher.

I dont know how this works but i've seen players who use the Audi RS 4 and super speed off the line. When i use the Survolt, it lightning speeds past me everytime. So i decided to use, and it didnt work for me. I tried perfect boosting off the line, i've tried triple boosting off the line. Nothing works so im starting to think this is some sort of hack. This has happened to me a lot of times but i thought the car was just that fast so i never paid it any mind. This is one guy i just raced against who is in 1900s and he did it to me when i was using the survolt and when i was using the Audi so i took a screenshot of his name. I need someone to clear this up for me.

I'm US. Reward on US leaderboard for top ten is the quoted 53k.

Not really sure how much I want to deal with upgrading the Aston and Spano for these cups since they're not top class cars or especially useful elsewhere. Hard to justify it given the weak rewards also. Think I'm better off saving towards new cars and Lykan upgrades.

My P1 hopes are pretty dashed at this point. That S curve just owns me almost every time.

Forgive me if this has come up in detail before, I didn't quite manage to read all 400 pages before attempting my first post. I'm loving Asphalt 8, but I have one niggle: the way that knockdowns determine the outcome of multi-player matches. So, rather than moan, I tried to come up with a better way of doing it. Anyone else think that this is a good idea, for multi-player online racing only:

    1. Infected stays as is.
    2. In elimination and classic, if you knock someone down you also wreck, so that you gain no advantage by doing so.
    3. Create a new multi-player version of 'knockdown' races in which you get points based on both your finish position and number of knockdowns. So, suppose you have 5 players, who finish in the order A, B, C, D, E. They get 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 points respectively. But they also get a point for each knockdown, so the final ranking is:

    1. B 4 (place points) + 4 (k/d points) = 8
    2. A 5 (place points) + 2 (k/d points) = 7
    3. C 3 (place points) + 2 (k/d points) = 5, but faster to complete than D
    4. D 2 (place points) + 3 (k/d points) = 5
    5. E 1 (place point) + 3 (k/d points) = 4

How about it? Then those who love knockdowns can play against each other and be rewarded for their specialist skill, while those who are more interested in driving for speed won't get quite so wound up ...

I can see you view point...personally I call this ' pre advance jitters '. As you advance in the game you will find knock downs are a intricate part of the game. To achieve knock downs and to avoid being knockdown will excel your gaming no end. I felt same as you earlier on however, have since learned the value of this feature as my skill progressed.

I love the fact when you tailing close to the leader they begin to ' twitch ' consciously wanting to avoid the knockdown ( pressure ) the nerves may force an error allowing you to take the lead. On the flip side if your at the front, you are constantly looking to keep speed by additional nitro, skill jumping...etc to keep the lead ( advancing your gaming ). IMHO you will find this feature will make you a better driver overall.

I am sure most advanced players will agree.

I can't believe there would already be hacking going on with the updated app, but I'm thinking there might be as well. In MP, this one Alfa was crashing, then he'd jump ahead, crash, fall back, jump ahead, and he never needed nitro...

This idea sounds nice. Having a playlist for knockouts and a playlist without knockouts sounds amazing but only on paper. Something like that will completely segregate the community. A lot of times online, you have to knockout to win its just apart of the game. It sucks for some of us but we cant change it. When you separate the players, its becomes less about who is the best/better racer. Knockouts are apart of the game and you just have to learn to adapt to it or it will suck for you. I agree with you though.
Basically this. Knockouts test your driving skills because it puts pressure on you. I wont lie, i get that anxiety feeling quite often online when i know im playing good drivers because i cant make a mistake and i have to drive perfect if i want to win.
Im not sure its hacking just yet, just need some people to speak on it first who have experience with it. And the situation you are talking about with the Alfa definitely is hacking.

Its fine, we all have our moments. I did something similar before with the Agera and the Silver Lightning, you just have to make up for it later on. Too bad we cant lend credits to each other on this game. I got about 18-19 million just sitting up, i could easily give you 1-2 mil.
