I think i have to reboot my system. If i scared anyone, sorry about that. Game is beautiful. I like that Gameloft went back to the old way of wrecking other cars. Doesn't take any concerted effort anymore. Also, the new upgrade system is peachy.
Finally some iPhone 4 gameplay http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LzNZZmNhb18 Actually it doesn't look that bad. Check out the Iceland race @7:00, of course the textures and vehicle graphics aren't amazing but the scenery still look quite nice
When JBRUU's ghost beats you, you know you missed one hell of a shortcut. This post is all kinds of not straight.
According to some people with 4, the game seems to be properly optimized for it so Asphalt 8 should run well on your device.
Yeah I had a few people confirm that 4 performance was good, I was more interested in the graphics. Found a video and of couse it doesn't look as good as on an iPad 5, but IMO seems pretty decent
I'm pretty sure the graphics are going to be like the how Gameloft implemented graphics on the 3GS on Asphalt 7, the same setting as the previous game since that's probably the highest the Gameloft could push the SOC before the performance is unacceptable. The physics will still be there but the graphics same as last year.
What a game! Just won at the finish line but next game had no hope of winning as there was a car right in front of me with the finish line right in front if it. I couldn't believe it when I crashed him from behind he exploded and I took 1st!! It's all about gameplay. A race's not lost until its lost. Beats Real Racing 3 hands down.
40 pages already, I've got some catching up to do. Will be downloading later this morning, if anyone wants to add me I am 'asinrope' on gameloft!
Buying now First time buying an app on the computer, how do I transfer it from my laptop to my device? Just do a sync or can I specifically have Asphalt be added?
I purchased Asphalt 5, 6, and 7, but I could never get into the series because the games never felt right to me. Asphalt 8 feels right, though! Great graphics, music, sound, control, and physics. Gameloft nailed it with this one.
