TGIF folks! The Dev team was taking a look at the event leaderboards earlier today and noticed that (at the time) Running Bird and Turbo 343 were actually #1 and #2! That's super exciting and they just wanted to say congrats to those two gentlemen! Now time for you both to share some tips... EDIT: Also, just wanted to say I'll be streaming Asphalt 8 later today using the Twitch SDK for our weekly stream. I'll probably be trying to do some more runs for the Spring Break Cups here in the US and any other events that are going on. Feel free to stop by and offer up some tips! www.twitch.tv/gameloft @ 2PM PST/5PM EST
I have much to learn: Aha! So you take the ramp that's towards the end of half way up the upwards slope, rather than the one on top of the hill? EDIT: Wait, never mind, I think I got it. You mean you jump off the ramp on top, but you jump so low, you actually land on the plateau before going downhill. Right? (By the way, did I mention that your tips are very much appreciated?) Thank you! Three other guys kicked us off the podium in the meantime, and that tunnel is starting to get on my nerves, so I think I'll call it a day on that front. Turbo 343 is still improving his time steadily, though, so if I were a betting man, I'd bet on him.
No sweat at all man. I am happy that I have anything to add...I have always thought that it would be the other way around all the time I too am learing
That's funny — I have the exact same time! That low jump on the hill really makes a huge difference. I had always operated under the assumption that each landing slows you down, but being able to fly further down the hill makes up for that, I guess. Yay gravity!
Thanks man It does but I watch the speed while I am in the air as my gauge if some jumps are faster than others or how it is jumped....the distance and speed gained is what made the difference I think. That part I had found on accident
this is how i did it. It's not perfect i've made some mistakes cause i was recording, but its still my best time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y2ikARG9PK8&feature=youtu.be
Nice what are you using to record with Master? or app should I say? I subscribed hope for more future content FYI....
Anyone know of a external device I can get to stream with in stead of doing in game? Edit: Just talked to RB and got some ideas...
If you go to the Gameloft Twitch channel and scroll down you'll see a section titled "Streaming Setup" (I think) and it will show you all of the hardware/software I use to stream when not using the Twitch SDK. I've been really happy with that setup and it'll give you the option to do local recording and streaming. EDIT: www.twitch.tv/gameloft
Just got back home and thank you Ryan...That might be the same link that RB game me but I will check it out later on this evening.
What car would you suggest for clearing out the B class stars and getting top times at B class tournaments like the ones that just showed up? My Shelby with tier 1 upgrades got me many stars but am struggling to get all 5 of them in season 7 and 8. I also only managed to go 1.09 on the cup and I need that 1.03 badly. I never go online multiplayer btw, am just in for the cars and stars. Are the 599XX or Gallardo worth it or should I just stick with my Shelby?
Both are worth the buy. I find the 599xx faster however the Gallardo has slightly better handling. I personally prefer the 599xx. Park the Shelby for season 7 and 8 and use either of the above. Good luck
I feel the same. If i would have lost, it wouldnt have mattered to me that much. Im saying the same thing, the ranking wouldnt matter that much to me.
