lol, I appear on that screenshot. I can't seem to get that 54:xxx :/ Yes, if you switch to United States they will appear and you can compete, at least I can.
Hm. Wonder if I should switch to Worldwide so I can play this other A Cup y'all are talking about. Curious if I would still get Spring Break rewards.
+1 Other than that I don't compete in TL tournaments where I have to rent a car for each race. Do they pay you interest, Running Flappy? (Reminds me to my credits account in A7 when they gave credits for local multiplayer racing ) BUMP! (Serious error: The lap times are not correct in our beloved Asphalt 8: Airborne!!! I know it's a long posting but you only need to read the first three and the last paragraph. Thanks in advance for looking into it, Gameloft folks.)
Hey, you're right! And I didn't even have to relaunch Asphalt. Indeed. The Audi's nitro characteristics are a huge advantage on this track.
Here's my understanding about country setting to tournament: 1. Few large / advanced / first-world country get their own leaderboards. That means the leaderboard and reward could be different (RB can rank #1 in Germany and MasterDriver #1 in Italy). Other country are included in the world wide web setting, that give more reward (250 dodge in www, 50 in uk, 50 in italy, and so on). You also can't see friends time in different country leaderboard 2. After you set time for the first time in tournament, the country will lock and can't be changed. (I set time first in Canada, after that even if i change country to US, the leaderboard is still Canada) 3. There could be country specific event, such as spring break for US. To participate, just change the country in setting. You can have different leaderboard at once(Dodge in UK, spring break in US, A Class in www). Here is a list of all country that have their own leaderboard: Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, Russia, United Kingdom, United States Hope that helps . . . . aaaannndddd i just make the tournament a whole lot competitive for myself
Yeah I only got the one spin off the jump since I bumped you in the air so I knew it was not the best idea but I wanted just a shade of a drift to get some nitro I had just run out and that is how it goes.... I would have gotten back quicker but when I came back right after that knockdown I instantly got an other tone so I had even more ground to make up dangit I was the same way though...I was not watching in the lobby for some reason...Just when I boosted and then saw your name above the car I was like oh hell ya.... I will tell ya this... loser last night or not that is the most fun I have had in this game in a while. I could care less about my rank if we could do that more often!!!!
Yes I can...He started the race knocked down two cars and at the first corner turned off the nitro?? He did not turn it back on till the hump right before the on coming car, boosted picked up the extra that car gave turned the corner and took the big jump under perfect boost. THat is spot one... then after landing down the big hill He took a dangerous line into the brume and it shut off the nitro and he does not turn it back on till after grabbing two blue and set up straight for the third...From there agave him the bottle to go perfect through the next barrel and then take the last barrel in the trees on the left side of the buildings and triple to finish. It is 1.23.791 Must be because I dont see these tournys either....I was hoping it had nothing to do with finishing up top on the other one?
Good job man...I will tell ya what....combine your elements in you non boosted best with boosters and you should be able to take the #1 spot man I did not try long but I seemed to be 56 challenged with out boosters
Huh. That part doesn't work for me at all. If I turn the nitro off (i.e., micro-break) with a little room to spare before the corner, I lose a lot of time. And if I turn it off later, the car drifts in the corner, and that doesn't seem to do me any good either. The other part is pretty much what I had been doing anyway. Yeah, same here. There's a lot to gain (or lose) by getting the entrance into the tunnel just right, while drifting as briefly as possible. And then there's the barrel roll ramp after the tunnel you have to keep the jump as flat as possible, but that means you often don't roll at all. (I also tried spinning off that ramp. Didn't seem to make a difference.)
I'm confused. It seems like the Class A tournament for you guys is Alps with no traffic? I'm in the US and my class A tournament (senior spring break) is Great Wall with traffic (boo).
Yup. Switch to Worldwide, then check your tournaments. If it doesn't show up, force-quit Asphalt (by dragging it up in iOS's app switcher), then relaunch. Bonus: Once you've participated in a tournament, it seems to keep getting displayed, even if you switch back to your original country setting.
So do any of you guys know the answer to the part of the China track where you have a ramp that jumps to the triangular roof of the temple with 4 blue nitros on either side, would it be faster to stay on the ground or to jump onto the roof and triple nitro?
Agreed, that is were they have the two tenths on me...or they are getting a luck super fast barrel roll after taking that jump low enough that it should be a non roll...I have takin it very low and still got a roll but it was a slow one. I also dont get the roll at all. I have also got a half roll crunch too... That would lie in weather you have the nitro to finish before you pass the ramp. If I had enough I would stay down for sure, but if not go up and triple to finish
