I dont even know, i think just only jumping on the second ramp might work at the end but im not sure. You gotta let us know something, pm us if you want to. Im starting to have framerate issues again. They just started the past couple of days and is a serious issue on China. Its like one second its fine then its really bad the next.
1.24 with 4 jumps ? no, i tried that way, it's too hard, but if you are good enough you can have the exact same time of the other roads. I take the top middle road, with a lot of city havocs . I think the secret here are city havocs, there are no other possibilities to achieve 1.23. This is my last limit: keep in mind i'm not fluent in english, so please be patient.
Yeah, my 1:24:770 run included four jumps as well. And I agree that if you managed to begin with a four- or five-car side-swipe fluke and follow up with getting all the city havocs without riding the walls, 1:23 should indeed be possible. By the way, when you say you don't jump, I assume you mean you don't jump any ramps, right? Because even if I take the gravel road on the left when going up to the temple, I usually go airborne for a second or so at the hill's apex, even though the nitro doesn't always break.
Well I officially surrender on this one... I tried to utilize the things in these posts and I regretfully inform you they do me no good I am still faster on my route and even at that I cannot seem to find the 24 mark again... I give this time This will be the most expensive Dodge on the planet for me
Nirina was broadcasting yesterday. RB may know him from the german leaderboards, he was #1 and he did 1:25:6's without the tuning kit. He used the top middle road without the big jump, did one barrel roll uphill, another barrel roll at the dragon, collected 3 bottles from gravel curve and did the barrel roll right after. The guy played it over and over again, meaning, it's about getting every single part correct.
This is what Master Driver is doing as well, right? When I tried that, I ended up within the same range of times I get when going through the tunnel on the left. But the tunnel is less risky (*), because there's no oncoming car. Other than that, Nirina's route seems to be the same as mine. I would have loved to see if there are any other small differences. (*) If you needed further proof that I consider (or at least used to consider) Asphalt 8 a multiplayer game first and foremost, this is it right here: I don't enjoy these stupid risky routes at all. I like routes I can survive and get more or less right at least 95% of the time.
RB: The two approaching cars give nitro which makes it somewhat worth the risk when you feel comfortable enough with the route. When I'm using the left road with a slow car I can't shake off the feeling that it's slower (because you have to take air time - feels like ages pass by). But with S class left road is perfect, very little chance of wrecking. Well the route is the same as mine, maybe he didn't show his little tricks that makes a difference, maybe it's pure luck, i don't know. He had a lot of money so racing it many times doesn't hurt him. It does hurt me, I need to save up, I can't race as much. I forgot to ask him why he didn't use tuning kit. Oh well. *You also enjoy the cars that will keep you safe. No wonder you dislike Survolt although the damn car is a damn miracle in multiplayer.
So I was talking with RB briefly on one of the streams I was watching earlier and he said people are having issues with streaming sessions cutting short. Is anyone else experiencing this? Are you all noticing any specific events happening that causes the stream to go offline? Or does it seem to be random? EDIT: Also, let me know what device you're streaming with EDIT 2: Also^2, what broadcast settings are you using when this happens?
Here's my info: It's an iPad mini with retina display streaming via Twitch SDK (Asphalt 8 1.3 on iOS 7.1), and the broadcast usually gets interrupted after 5 to 10 minutes. Most likely not a connection issue, as I'm sitting pretty much right next to the AirPort Extreme, and the same setup never caused multiplayer problems. Connection speed should be sufficient as well at 2.6 mbps upload. Nevertheless, I tried switching to low quality, and that didn't help either.
I am watching people that I know are on connections about like RB's and using Air that do this as well. Maps do not seem to be the culprit on their as It seems to be on all of them. Their quality for those having issues is on low. If I can get over to my families house I told RB I would try and load the game on my moms air and try it there. They have a very good connection... I would try mine but my device does not stream.
Freshman, Sophomore, and Senior cups...no Junior? Nice to finally have top maxed out cars in a tournament for once. (370Z and Competizione)
iPad Air, 7.0.6, mainly on medium/high, but low disconnects too, but after a longer time (a few more minutes?). I feel it is an upload speed issue. I have a connection with a tad under 1mbps upload. I think Twitch recommends 3-5 in upload. It might be worth it if a few people here could try streaming with all in-game sounds muted and see if it could be a bit of the audio causing the issues, as that is the only other quality that can't be tweaked at the moment.
Ditto! I must have spent one million credits and still can't get under 1:25.4. And, I'm not seeing a ton of Havoc items aside from some logs and posts. Is anyone hitting one of the three ramps by the "temple"?
