Well their name is in that screen shoot, provided that is the same name used in game? I watched for little bit and gave a few nice comments along the way But since while watching their stream on all the screens it just says "you" I could not verify if the name used in Twitch is it or not.
Couldn't agree more with this post. So many times, I saw the 57 mark slip away because I failed to hit that last bottle and ran out just before the last right-hander. The route I was taking, I needed that last bottle. Drifting slowed me down way too much. Had to drop in the ditch, hit perfect boost and hit all three bottles to make it. How those dudes got 56, I'll never know. I'm just not that good.
Should test it to be sure... But I am not sure that this selection will effect the leader boards but maybe so. I ran into a gomeloft rep in the Twitch stream last night and asked this based on the Great Wall Cup...They told me that certain tourny's going forward will show only show your country and there will be nothing we can do about that. I think it is there to help people gain rewards? But then again maybe we will get to pick for some and not others. Good job to those who are below 1.26 in the current cup BTW That car is painfully slow to drive
I hope that is of help to you, time in the saddle is the main reason all of us are where we are and trail and error have tough all of us the lessons we learn and continue to learn. Unfortunately I can also let you know... that when you see a very good time, there is most likely many many runs at that time to attain it. We all make mistakes.... and I am by now means the "authority" on this game either so others may have more input for you.....
Interesting...since you are set for USA then it still does not show you in the worldwide board like I am set to. But you would be 11th on the world board Oh and there are no 1.23's on the world board either
Turbo, thanks for taking the time and posting some useful advise, I will see if I can put it to good use. As they say practise makes perfect.... Back to the grind...
I'm not sure which is better in general, but I've beat several of my Lykan times with the Pagani. It has much better handling and is very stable, which makes it easier to drive well. Of course, its top speed is not as good so the Lykan will do better if (and there's the rub) you can drive it as well as the Pagani. But I just like the Pagani more and it is competitive enough IMO. I haven't tried the new MP mode yet, but it seems like the only way to deal with the new matching system is to use one of the top S cars, so you can't be up against anyone faster? Bummer. Will probably give it a shot tonight when I activate some boosters to have a go at the rental tournament.
I know this post that is being referenced is old...sorta... but I will weigh in on it. The Lykan is the fastest/quickest lap time car in the game end of story... It is also the most unreliable/unpredictable car IMO in the game.....I love both the Pagani's as the are really my favorite cars in the game and I wish they could compete in their perspective realms... but at the elite level they just can not. The Pagani Huayra I feel can out run (lap time) the Agera in a lot of if not all cases too. I see my quoting did not work right... this was to have both the above and VBF posts with in it.... see Shoomy above for reference
Guys, Trihalonoob is at it again, and I have to say his broadcast is oddly fascinating. Also, seeing what a race is like for him might help us with identifying similar cheaters in multiplayer. (He's sticking to career mode for now.)
I will have to watch again.... I agree... I will say I think that if I had the right car on the right track I dont think he could beat us....you? But he/she might just be getting used to it for now.... I saw them go over 800 kph yesterday Edit; I just saw right at 1000 kph.... they also ran the cup for a pass and was no good really 1.30...but I saw them claim rewards on the last cup and that is a bummer
I think he would — two reasons: - He's not that bad, which makes me wonder why he cheats. - He cannot crash. If you took away the no crash part of the hack, he wouldn't stand a chance, though. EDIT: After watching some more, we might stand a chance in a tournament. In multiplayer, though, he'd knock us out. (Someone just got him to run in the current tournament, and his time was worse than mine, even though I didn't even have boosters active.)
I may be in the minority, but I actually prefer career to online multiplayer in most games. If I'm not sitting next to the person I'm playing, I'd rather just go it alone. Mario Kart with friends was always amazing fun. Anyway, I think I posted it before, but I almost had completed career before the update. Was just saving for the Agera and RUF 12. Now with the update, I am kind of happy that it gives me impetus to pick up the other cars, though it has left me torn on my next objective. I'm sitting on 320k credits now. Not sure if I should continue saving for the Agera or if I should wait and go for the Lykan or Huayra...or even just cave for the 599X. Credits aren't the easiest to come by with only about half the Chinese challenges un starred. I do really appreciate the credits I can get in tournaments though. As for multiplayer, I pretty much only play it for win streaks to pick up nitro/tuning/upgrades. Kind of wish they'd throw in an upgrade beyond B though. Think the the usual progression is 2500/5000/tuning/C class or 2500/nitro/D class/B class. A double credits thrown in there occasionally would be cool too. Think I'm around 1400 on my rating, though I don't really care about it very much.
I think you are right that the Lykan is clearly the faster car. My point was mainly that I like driving the Huayra a lot more and that it is competitive enough to do okay. Not for setting record lap times for example, but it's usually plenty for first place.
IMO on car buying choices. The RUF is a waste of money unless you are just buying it for the stars in Career mode. It's not competitive against the Sesto or the LaFerrari. Similar story for the Agera. Only reason to get it over the Lykan is for the career mode stars. The Lykan is a way better choice for running the Master's cup type time limited events where you can run any car. Or the Huayra, which is easier to control than the Lykan and the Agera but not quite as fast. I like the 599xx a lot. It has great handling and acceleration. I haven't maxed it out yet, so I can't say how it compares to the maxed Mustang or the Gallardo (haven't bought yet), but the 599xx is definitely one of the top B class cars.
All those options are FINE! But forget the Lykan Too stiff! Buy the Agera, Pagani, RUF and Ferrari 599xx And save your money for the SSC Tuatara... I mean... +-1000k That car maxed will reach almost 600 Km/h.
A few minutes ago on Twitch, a Gameloft guy said a Japanese racer had a (most likely legit) 1:23 time.
I can't believe the FXX has so many fans. It's hyper steering is nuts. But, I'm sure if you get the hang of it, it's pretty good ... but getting used to it. No thanks.
