I will never understand the need to hack a game, especially a free one. Why? People must love trolling

The funny thing about this is that some of the names in threads that discuss those hacks are names you can presently find in the world series top 100, including one guy I reported months ago — good old akzdr. I bet that's pure coincidence!

It's a good thing, though, that according to what I've read, the current crop of hacks seems to be detectable in multiplayer, so these guys are mostly a tournament-related threat as of now.

It seems the first car tournament is for the Challenger but with cheaters, i will never get it so i might as well not try.

 

in the dodge tournament, with only 250 car to give and the rise of hackers, it will be almost impossible for legit player to win the car

Now, like many of us here hackers and cheaters are a big issue for me also. Not only do they spoil a fair contest but they are putting off passionate players wanting to better themselves, challenge and achieve legitimately.

I understand that there will always be hackers and GL team will do its best to minimise this however this does not address the rewarding system in the trophy based events. For example the current dodge challenger cup, the car is awarded to the 50 player who achieves top times, however if many of them happens to be cheating than a, you are rewarding bad practise and b, how is that fair to someone coming in at 55 through sheer perseverance ? This may also be my frustration of coming in at 65 position in the Great Wall challenge missing the 100,000 credits by 15 position after countless attempts.

So in short, I agree this will always be a cat and mouse game however the rewards system should be reviewed with dedicated and committed players in mind also.

It'll be pretty cheap once the tournament ends so not too bothered.
250 is a very high threshold I'll admit.

It'd be nice if any hackers get removed between it ending and the rewards being awarded and the non hackers getting promoted and receiving the car.

Yes, very much so. People should be rewarded for their commitment to the game. But the thing is, what could dedicated people get that the average person doesnt? When its put that way, it seems like favoritism.

The question is will it be available directly after the tournament? Or do we have to wait longer?

 

Boy to add to that... I am surprised that it is on the (almost) same track that we all ran for the last several days? It should have been on one of the others just to mix it up better.... On that note... I see a few tracks that a hacker would just about commit suicide if they ha to run...that would have been best maybe?

 

What's up people, new here so just saying hello and throwing my two cents in.

Love the new track, hate this new matchmaking deal though. It almost seems like on a long enough timeline it's trying to force everyone to the same numerical level.

In a few hours of pretty dedicated play the other day, I was able to shoot up from 1000 something to close to 1400, and now I'm making a slow steady decline.

I figure at this point if I keep getting 2nd or 3rd and losing 5-10 points every time, I'll eventually hit the magic equilibrium where things are actually competitive again. My guess is it's somewhere @ 1200; seems the further you get above/below that range, the higher the rewards/penalties get.

I never paid much attention to ranking before because honestly almost every race was me vs 5-7 double-maxed out sesto elemento hackers so, even getting into third was a major victory. So in a way I guess it's better than that, at least until they come swarming back.

Oh and anyone wants to add me feel free, my GC account is "_JohnnyQuest_". I have zero friends on there bc no one I know IRL has this game. Just keep in mind I'm probably nowhere near as good as the rest of you

It could be cheaper to just try win it from the tournament. For example i spend about 300k for Lykan tourney and get 550k car . Although it is also possible to spend hundreds of thousand and still not win the car
And there is exclusivity value to be considered

 

To be fair, it's not the amount of the car that matters, it's the principle. If you have the skills required to be the best you can win the car rather than pay hard earned credits because few people would rather cheat then EARN the reward.

Just my thought.

 

I know this is old, but this jump reminds me a lot of the first ramp in Iceland normal. You have to hit it properly to make it.

Have either one of you run S class boosted yet in multi? What is it like... solid hackers... or just the typical lottery? I am starting to get the MP withdrawals

I was thinking of running the Pagani boosted but maybe not a good idea? Just wondered if they have altered the algorithm enough yet?

 

Can I have a simple request. Can you add "Philippines" in the select country. I appreciate very much.
