So they add multiplayer and they FORGET TO IMPLEMENT Private lobbies? Well.

 

I'm loving this, but the controls need a bit of tweaking. Especially the onscreen wheel option.

Ryan, it'd be awesome if you could ask about getting a floating wheel option - I keep going into walls instead of drifting because I miss the wheel.

Likewise, the tap to steer option should really let us customize where we want the buttons. The nitro and brake are too close for me.

Best option? Go it like NFS did - left portion of screen to steer, hold down right portion and steer to drift. Lower middle to brake. No onscreen buttons, seamless and smooth. By far the most intuitive racing controls I've ever experienced on iOS.

Just use tilt and all is well.

 

I don't like tilt controls. Unless we're talking Crazy Hedgy.

 

The only time I like tilt is in racing games. It feels better IMO.

 

I feel as though I have less control, though. It all boils down to personal preference.

Just wish there was custom controls for the touch to steer option.

Yeah. But you should have way more control with tilt.

iPad doesn't bother me. Actually I prefer it over iPod/mini Like a big steering wheel. Lol

Well, my iPad 4 has sharp sides and still sharp with my case on it.
Also it's tad heavy to keep up in the air while laying down playing. Lol.

 

This social system is annoying.

Some races I can add a ghost. Some races I can't. And nobody that I've added in the last 20 minutes's ghosts are available.

 

Here everybody plays with tilt controls since Asphalt 4 came out.

Why tilt? Don't it get tiring? Or do you sit up playing it?

 

Wow! This game is freaking amazing. It may even rival some of my favorite console arcade racers. The tracks. The number of shortcuts. The jumps. Going upside down in a sewer tunnel. Yummy stuff and an absolute blast.

Only one minor quibble so far - why is there no restart option after a race? No biggie, but it's nice to just jump back in if you blew it or wanted to complete another star like a barrel roll (which in and of itself is a cool addition).

 

Everyone has opinions, your was that you like it. Mine was that I dislike it.
