That's true, but I can feel Dark-Zero's pain. Competing against the clock or a ghost is simply not the same as competing with actual racers that can block you and steal nitro cans from you.
Yeah, only problem is i dont want to waste my boosts trying to get a faster time and only using them for like 20 mins.
I tried, but I can't control a drifting Lykan well enough — I keep touching the rails, which breaks the drift. Is your Lykan fully upgraded? -- EDIT: I just found out that the country vs. worldwide thing is a preference within Asphalt 8 — "Worldwide" is the last entry in the countries list. So if we all chose that, we could see each other (future runs only, I think), but it would probably also mean that getting rewards would be harder.
When i beat it, i was fully upgraded. For me, when drifting the Lykan i have to collect myself and calm down so i wont oversteer/panic steer. You have to be really slow with the turning (your device). And if im not mistaken i did hit a couple walls, you just have to drift again almost instantly after you touch the wall.
Thanks for your answer, but that doesn't work for me. I played a few tracks, both cup and career, all China, but the issues didn't disappear. Restart, hard reset, nothing worked. The other (old) tracks are fine, I almost forgot how smooth the game is actually running. Hopefully it's just a bug that i fixable in an update.
I don't know how I forgot to mention this one, but Luis and co, if you're reading, thanks very much for NO MORE HACKERS!!!!! WOO-HOO!!!! Its real nice to see that actual genuine players topping the new tournament board. I'll ignore the "sorry" tournament because they were still around for that but it is genuinely great to know that the tournament leaderboards are now achievable genuine times. I see quite a few from here floating around in there at the top as well so when I say achievable times, we're talking seriously fast times but genuine players. Very happy with that result.
I'm still amazed how something as simple as fireworks turn out to be the best idea ever. Damn, I go out of my way to hit firework boxes. However I find it worrisome that gl is taking to the strategy of having car specific carrer mode events before the new cars are actually available. Half of the new events are unavailable until god knows when. I wish I could enjoy the new tracks more in career mode. Why not release a new car or two right away?
I'll ask about that. I know the cars will be forthcoming in TLE's but I didn't realize that the events would be accessible before the cars were >.<
Ryan, could you inquire with the team about frame rate issue that we have been talking about here? I very well could be the cause of the problem....But I do think that something with the new maps is up. Because the old ones are fine. THanks,
In the main screen look at upper right and see the page/sheet looking icon with a +.....touch that and find the single race mode with in. I think this is what you were wanting to know
They moved it. Tap the page+ button in the top right corner of the main menu, then choose "Quick Solo Race". In other news: Scratch that. Turns out Twitch doesn't support the iPhone 5, so RBUMS (Running Bird's Unfair Multiplayer Show) is on hiatus before it even started.
iPad mini with retina is supported so you can use that. Its A7 devices specifically at the moment so Mini Retina, Air and 5s. I'm sure you said earlier one of the devices you have is mini retina. Edit, wait just reread, each device linked to each account, I see now.
Here's another Great Wall Cup question for Turbo 343: Did you get a faster time after switching countries? What happened with your leaderboard display? (Me, I'm still at 1:00:6ish, but I haven't actually raced in that cup today. I might try again tomorrow.) Yea.
Leader board display did nothing for now... I think you are right and will change for things moving forward and not on going events....At least that is how I am seeing it.
Is there anyway in the future gameloft could add a an option in local wifi races to select the number of laps. Also why can you only race on the regular and reversed for each track(with the exception of London). All six new China tracks on local wifi would be so much better!
Twitch feedback for whomever it may concern: Broadcasting is spotty for me. I tried broadcasting some ghost races, but I usually get a "broadcast interrupted" message after 5 to 10 minutes, which means I have to go back and re-enable the broadcast. Feature suggestion: Try auto-reenabling the broadcast after a few seconds, unless I stopped it deliberately. Content-wise, some of the guys that currently have broadcasts up are racing in multiplayer. And boy oh boy, it's amateur hour there. I wonder why.
