So is the Lykan really worth spending 550k on it or should I just buy a few other cars like Silver lightning and Sesto elemento and clear some stars with them?
Well I see things slightly different these days. I do not have all the stars cleared but it is due to early cars that I did not want and are literally (for the most part) needed for that race and that alone. So...Yes it is worth the coin in my book for what it can do...But you will find it a car that you may not use much overall if understand what I am saying. Fun to drive and makes you feel like you are in a rocket... so do some others though.... If stars are what you crave now get what is needed to clear out.... The Sesto is a no brainer IMO get it for the given rank the car is very strong...the lighting I never use... I ran it to clear a couple races and run a few ghosts, but I seriously got it a while back wondering how people were knocking me down in it when I was in a car with better numbers on paper.... After I drove it I see why but it is so hard to drive really well that is sits in the garage and I never run it. It really depends on you, stars get what you need...fun in single or to run tourny's then the Lykan is great...
How do you guys get under 1:10 in the C class Alps tournament without boosts? I'm missing more than a few seconds on Turbo, I feel like a dummy...
Use the Audi RS4 Avant. It's very efficient in terms of nitro, and it accelerates fast enough to be able to knock out the competition when the race starts.
Rb is right man...Best I could in the Lotus was 1.09 even...But use the Audi and that is what my current time is in
Hi guys, Long time reader, first time poster I just wanted to say that I've learned so much from reading your posts in this thread. Anyways, here's my two cents on what I think would be potential improvements to the game. First, the suggestions that others have made that I agree with, in order of how much it would add to enjoyment of the game, and then a few suggestions of my own: 1. Non-local races against your friends 2. Non-Wifi Internet Multiplayer (use regular cellular data) 3. More time limit-based prizes in tournament cups in order to eliminate the influence of hackers rather than using ranking prizes 4. More accurate car ratings that reflect relative Acceleration, give information about how quickly Nitro is used up by each car, etc. 5. The whole Knockdown invincibility in the first 10 seconds thing 6. A Replay button after finishing a Single-Player race. Instead of having to press Next, Next, Skip, wait for the menu to load, scroll down to your race, press Race, Next, Next, Next, and Start Race in order to repeat a race using the exact same equipment that you had just finished, it would be so much easier to just have a Replay button appear next to the first Next button that appears right after the race ends so that players can repeat a race without jumping through so many hoops for so common an action. 7. Resizable nitro and brake buttons. I use the Tap to Steer controls on my iPhone 4S, and I keep missing the Nitro button because it's just too small. There's no reason why it has to be so small. If the player could resize it to their liking, that would make the controls that much better. And I also have a few questions for Ryan, or anyone else who might know the answers: When I play forward Alps with my Lykan, I am able to go fast enough to collide with the yellow bus that gets swept away by the avalanche at the end of the level, but, instead of colliding with it, I just pass right through it. Is this a bug? Do the City Havoc nitro bonuses increase depending on the size of your combo? Like does hitting a City Havoc x10 (the tenth object in a row) give you a bigger nitro boost than City Havoc x1 (the first object you have hit in a while)? If not, it should. Why does my car sometimes randomly pull to the side even when I'm not touching the screen, usually leading to a wreck? It's so frustrating when you're about to win in multiplayer and out of nowhere you lose for no fault of yours at all. And finally, do you guys, when you're coming out of your final turn down the home stretch and you're not completely square to the finish line (and we rarely are), leave the steering alone and just stay on the straight diagonal line to the finish line, or do you steer to square your car to the finish line to make a shorter line to the finish? I'm not sure if the shorter distance makes up for the slowing down caused by the steering. Thank you for reading!

So u mean that Audi RS 4 avant is better then Alfa romeo 8C ? i was able to DO Alps under 1:08 with Alfa romeo and my time with audi RS4 is 1:15 :-s
1. I think that is just visual effect, no real object. So, you just went pass through 2. I'm not sure, but i'd say that the nitro bonus is the same. 3. I'm not sure about this one either, but it's about a little height difference in the road. In Tokyo i spin out more than i can count because of the sidewalk. 4. Usually shorter distance for me
That statement RB and I made was based on no boosters...when boosting the car thing could be different. With no boosters that is the car to turn in the quickest time. If you are talking no boosters, funny thing is you have them dead back ward in my experience...The best I could turn with the Romeo was 1.13 something and in the Lotus I could reach 1.09 flat....and the current time I have posted is in the Audi at 1.07.5 somthing
1. At design the Lykan did not exist so I think that was not thought of.... Foreget the buss that snow should take you out too 2. I think it is the same as well 3. Bumps and curbs for me as well as water.... makes the biggest difference when in the faster cars...I even spin out in Nevada rev in the S's if I push it too hard it he Lykan. 4. It is shorter for me. In these leader boards and or ghost races these days those fractions of a second matter so I get them where I can.
Slippery road. Most reasons: Snow, ice (Alps), and oil. Yes, oil (esp. in London, Nevada). There are some oil cans as city havoc and when you drive through them 1. Your wheels get oily and slippery for some time 2. All others behind you will have a problem at this spot (and even you when you drive there the next round) A real challenge that was introduced in A8. But the spots are always the same. If you're aware (alarmed) you can do something against it (correct quickly). Needs some skills, though.
Thanks guys about the Audi tip. I used the boosts, and my time (1:05:168) was the RS4. I didn't try out the other cars, the 8C and the Lotus felt a bit slower. Damn, the 8C can't hold her nitro, it's gone before you know it.
Hi Ryan, I was in multiplayer and I got this guy that I'm pretty sure is a cheater. I was leading when this guy disappeared from my map for a couple of seconds, then appeared again to pass me with enormous speed. Never saw him again for the rest of the race. Apparently he finished a minute and a half before I did.
I just bought the Agera R spending a total of 500k credits and it and its upgrades. I have to say, this is by far the worst decision I have made in a long time. It really sucks, it actually sucks even more than that. I can't believe I have wasted my life credits just to realize that its just a few few seconds slower than my 140k FXX with only level one upgrades. God I have ruined this game for me now so bloody much! Is there a way to undo buying the Agera? Maybe gameloft support? God I hate myself.
