I probably have you all beat on the category... 8 days, 4 hours. My wife would literally kill me if she found that number out! It also kinda scares me that I can play any game that long. The thing is, I'm not even close to being burnt out yet (although the cheaters get me to that point from time to time). Every other game I've ever played, I play it for about a week solid and then get sick of it. Not this game though. They really did a great job with the tournaments... I just wish they would have them more often and not have them last for 4 days, especially when the prizes don't really equate to a 4 day tourney. But either way, still love the game. On a different note, if they really wanted to stop the cheating, they can easily take out at least 100 players right now. The top 100, and probably many more after that, are all clearly cheating. My best time is 1:04.1, but I haven't played it much so I'm sure there is a second or two that is still attainable. But 52 seconds is simply not possible under any circumstances and the entire leaderboard has that time. Why don't they just kick every one of those people out right away? The longer they keep playing, the more points the honest racers lose to inferior drivers that have to cheat to win. Super frustrating. Also, add me as a friend- user name is Jonm626
I've definitely never played any mobile game as much as Asphalt but when it comes to console and PC games...it's amazing I have a wife/life.
I did yesterday. Went through all your challenges that I could find and beat them. I even beat a Turbo 343 ghost while I was at it, and while racing you guys, a problem with ghost races (and tournaments) occured to me: We're close to the point where winning vs. losing depends exclusively on finding out where you should use triple nitro vs. perfect nitro. And I don't find that very entertaining, especially because triple nitro will always strike me as an amateur move: "Oops, I tapped too early. Now I'll have to tap a third time." 11 days and counting, mostly multiplayer. And it would be even more than that if San Andreas hadn't come out for iOS a while ago — oh, how I'd love to have some of those cars in Asphalt, especially this one.
Hey, it's been awhile since I've been not playing this game. This is the truth, Gameloft released a sneak peek of the next update awhile ago, All I can say is there's gonna be a Dodge Challenger and a new track(I think).
I hope you're right. But what class will it be in? Will it be overpowered like the 599xx was to B class when it was added?
HeY! Fellows; GL_Ryan or anyone: I would know why the tires are octagonal... I mean, has eight edges. I thought tires were circular ...
That was a nice run to RB...But look I got ya back Edited to add: You raise a good point for sure. in the tournament world I think it has been there for a while now. I have been having the same thoughts, but for me that is part of the fun.....finding that elusive "perfect run"!! That is until I have run it for a couple hours straight... wrists start to hurt...and then I have to say oh well I am done
Haha Probably to reduce the poly count, and hence keep the game's performance at acceptable levels. It takes a lot more geometry to fool you into thinking a 3D object has smooth edges than to just leave it blocky. But when you're going at 250mph, does it really matter?
Hey all, sorry for just getting back to you. I've been having some tech issues at work and it's been killing me! Needless to say, here is my attempt to quickly get back up to speed... Yes, I'll definitely do this. It was on my to-do list before my computer crapped the bed so I'm going to work on reaching out to them today. Just to make sure I remember the issue correctly: It's got to do with not getting double credit boosters anymore? Or am I thinking of something else? Let me know and I'll also look back in the thread! Yup, WP8 and W8 versions will be updated. It just takes time for the updates to hit because we have to first port them over to the Windows platform and then still go through all of the approval processes again. Content is headed over though, fear not!
Biggest update yet to the game. New cars obviously and what looks like a new track in the image. No more details than that but the implication is that it is not too far away (that does not mean this week though).
I have been thinking some after RB's post that I commented on a page or two back.... For the...or a future update. It might be good to have a random set of rotating tracks so that we all do not get the chance to absolutely perfect the ones that are in the game? Or is that crazy? But if you think about it, if you did not have all the time in the world to practice them via ghosts or not... it would be a bit harder to be "perfect" on them? Maybe I should think it though some more but it was a thought that I literally just had to help solve an issue of getting to that point of not being able to go any faster on them anyway...but that is the case in the real world so maybe that is just racing
Looks like your result didn't sync — I'm still ahead of you by a whopping 00:00:033 in season 8's first S class Alps forward race. That was the one, right?
That actually sounds like a good idea, but it seems unlikely. There would be a backlash from playing maps you cant practice on.
