I can't say this for sure that it is definitely the general case but recently I'm getting more upgrades in the win streaks than anything. I had assumed that it was down to the fact that I have 10 credit boosters built up spare, along with 15 nitro boosters and 15 tuning kits in stock. Now I don't know if that is the case for definite, but it seems to be giving me stuff I don't have rather than stuff I have a lot of so I assumed there was some form of logging of boosters in it. Plus you were post 3000 @Running Bird, I'm pretty sure they will be gone for more than a week or two. Hopefully.
Ah, so you'll be racing Turbo 343 then. Seriously though, I hope Gameloft will eventually introduce private non-local multiplayer (and call it "World Wide Habakuk"). Then all we'll have to do is align our time zones. And while I'm making wishes, those private races would ideally not count towards your world series ranking. That way, we could experiment more, we could race different kinds of cars against each other, etc. Besides, allowing private races to influence rankings would make it way too easy to inflate your rank artificially. You're my favorite optimist in this thread, and I mean that sincerely.
Rut OK, love the game, except when my car loses control on Tokyo sidewalk and glitch of Nevada switchback jump, but after getting up over 1,700 and sliding way back down playing the Lykan I'm in a rut with routes. I've discovered some nice routes, but I need to see some ghost routes of some faster players. Is there any way to do that, folks?
Thanks. Its worth noting some of that is based on some solid info. And then the rest is pure hope and optimism but, hey, hope can be a very sustaining force when it's needed.
Recently redownloaded this, and, I must say, the F2P elements are close to nill. I can see it being an annoying grind for the top tier cars, and yes, it's irritating to have to pick and choose purchases so carefully to make it through the seasons, but no timers, no premium currency, no ads, nothing. More F2P titles like this, please. That is, if they have to be F2P in the first place. Why couldn't RR3 have taken this route. It'd be nice if there was an option to fully randomize the music, instead of just picking between genres. I think that's been mentioned before here, just wanted to echo it. Also more tracks>more cars for future updates. I really enjoy the track design here. Enjoying this a lot.
Glad to hear you're enjoying this one and can see what they were trying to achieve, particularly on the balancing side but certainly on the design side. I'll have to start seeing you're times coming up in the ghost side now. Be sure and check out the race ghost option. It's very useful and very entertaining. Some of my earlier times are quite good but I've been usurped by quite a few of the guys on here now and found their ghosts even more useful. I won't mention their names as there's just too many solid players here now and I don't want to exclude any that I might miss out on. Solid competitors though. And genuine legit players.
Can anyone recommend a good A and S class car to carry me through [most] of the last two seasons? Indeed. Oftentimes it's a time effective way to compare track shortcuts. The extra credits certainly don't hurt if you win. Edit: that's like, what, Dan't Ponic's 5th account?
McLaren 12 and Ferrari FXX will do most of the heavy lifting for ya. There are better options but they will do a lot of the work for ya. Sesto Elemento is the king of A class even though I do love my Laferrari. Lykan rules the S class but I can't help but like the Veneno as its cheap and a great handler, but just won't cut it in multiplayer. There's actually numerous options now that I look at it. Love the F12, FXX (great engine sound), Ruf CTR 3 but if I'm being realistic and want a good return on investment for the series', the McLaren and FXX are very good options that way and are very competitive in multiplayer later on.
Ahh but I like the look of that Pagani, worth the extra 15 grand? I can feel the envy emanating from Connector and KJ from here.
The Iceland Masters left me wondering if in the last run do you guys take any upper roads? Or do you just stick to the down and do some city havoc while at it? My intuition tells me that taking to upper roads would slow you down and the nitro bottles wouldnt compensate for it (at least when driving agera).
How did you lose 10 points by winning? I've gotten 0 more times than I can count, but never a minus for winning! That scares me. Sorry bud. I have also noticed that there are no more free double credits. It's been at least a few weeks since I've seen them around. And since it looks like the cheating will never stop and I am bound to win 20 races and lose all those points in one race to a cheater, one thing I mentioned to the customer care group would be to allow us to back out of the lobby anytime before the race starts. I hate getting stuck in a lobby and seeing one of the known cheaters pop up and I can't get out of the race. I know the entire time I am about to lose 10+ points to a cheater and it sucks! Also, we should make a list or something of the known cheaters so we can try to avoid them when possible. Yesterday and today I ran into Up.In.You and Earththn who are both cheaters while I was running with the Mini Cooper. Just an FYI to try to get out if you see these cheaters in your lobby.
carnival cup rewards missing Hello, This is my first post on the forum. I have question about carnival cup that ended last night. I had all three trophies won on the first day of the torment and I could see them till end of the tournament. But this morning after end of tournament it does say to claim rewards. Only Iceland master's cup has stated, Is it only me who don't see the rewards for carnival cup? Thanks Nordi
You have to wait. GameLoft has to check the list of winners and look for hackers. Rewards will appear eventually. Patience
Hint... any road loaded with bottles is loaded for a reason...it is slower end of story..at least that I can think of this late at night Stay down, I have not run it as of yet but it must be the forward format? City havoc is your key to super fast times and clean. This is really I feel the most tricky track to run the fastest times on. Fast enough to win in multi all day but in a multiple day tourny can be super challenging. Anyway, stay down, collect as many yellow road markers as you can. I like to spin off the first barrel roll jump and not just take it head on... Did that sound bad.......Take the tunnel to the right after the concrete barriers in the road, oh and use all those too... stay to the left entry and not the right... left ramp left then fall through the hole on the right. Spin off the snow mound when leaving the tunnel...from there I need to run it and see how it is loaded to the finish. I think I take the blue bottle on the right up the small road followed by the next blue that you need to cross the road via the air for....triple boost all these small shelves and take the first barrel jump low to get back down below..... This is all if there is no traffic.. If it has the traffic those cars and pylons are the key to staying down and boosting to the finish line.....I dont run this one much because me no likely this track...I will check in tomorrow and see if that was of any help to you and maybe I will run it anyway tomorrow night. Cheers
Yeah this is Iceland forward. And yes there's traffic all the way so it's just better to stay down and get city havoc/near miss boosts then. So after the concrete barriers you take the left tunnel (which I also do) but then after the ramps you fall through the hole to the right (which I've never done until you mentioned). I gave it a shot but since I lack practice I ended up hitting walls and losing 5 seconds in the end, lol. Thanks for the reply That barrel roll in the beginning though, it's just risky for me. I've lost count how many times I've landed upside down on the dirt.
Yikes. I've never had that happen to me, but I read about it once or twice, if I remember correctly. Did the race end normally, or do you think there was any reason for the game to assume you vanished and/or your internet connection died? Phone call? Messaging? Also, do you happen to remember how many cars there were in that race when it ended? Better yet, did you take a screenshot of the lower half of the leaderboard? Whenever something like this happens, I wonder whether one of the cars has a hack that somehow confuses the points distribution algorithm. I feel a little bad now, by the way, considering how this had to happen to you in a car I talked you into. On the other hand, I don't see how a bug like that could be car-specific.
I'm still getting boosts, but I don't seem to get upgrade credits (or should they be coupons?) often anymore. I sort of see my interest in farming for upgrades dipping when the price tag is 25K credits and above...
