carnival cup hi guys i'm new here. been playing asphalt 8 for some time. the game rock but the hackers are a real bummer. i just completed the carnival cup in 1:34:865, but despite the sync being completed it still shows 1:35:005 as no 1. is 1:35 the lowest? i dont get it.
Dont feel left out. Most of us have times lower than the 1.35 and for some reason it is not letting them in the leader board. I feel it will still give the rewards though. I show the last two trophies lite but not the leader board one that is first in the list? It does keep telling me that I have not yet run this event?? Um ya that is not it, so maybe it has something to do with "Carnival" being the name and I am just a Monkey not getting it Maybe Ryan can shed some light for us if he looks in today?
I'm not sure what's going on with this Carnical Cup. I actually just got off of a call with a member from the A8 team and if I had read this before the call I would have asked him! I'll be sure to send an email to the team and see if I can get some insight on why times below 1:35 aren't showing up on the leaderboard. Yeah the backlash would be immense! It would be an interesting way to validate things though. There's no update this week, it's still being worked on. We are ironing out some details Yeah, as mentioned earlier I'm going to try and find out what's going on. This was something I didn't see over the weekend but I'm happy to ask around! EDIT: Just heard from the team and they were aware of the issue. They apparently have tweaked the cup and everyone should be good to go, even if you post a sub-1:35 time. Let me know if you guys run into any other issues with the cup and I can follow up with them!
Yes and yes! London is played far too often. I think part of the reason it is getting boring is because you never even get to play it in reverse. And with the "suicide jockeys" (nice term by the way), I even have this one guy start each race by slamming his car into reverse. I must have been hit and caught by him 5 times and it takes me a good 4-6 seconds to finally get around him or where it will allow me to press the magic button to move me when I'm stuck. Sucks!
LoL... that is all I can think to call them. But ya the first time I was in Monaco in the last final long stretch and I saw them and lucky for me it was all so quick that he just missed my line. But boy it made me laugh out loud... me at 265mph and them about the same made or an ultra high speed flybuy... Would be nice to run London Rev. or one of the Torny variants for sure. Edit: Forgot to thank you Ryan for the input...it did work fine after I read that. Only problem was I had to run faster than I did previously before it would record it because my device must have known what I had already run. Just not the server. Cheers
There is ONE race in career mode where you can run London in reverse direction. I don't know why it's not possible in local or online multiplayer mode (all other tracks have it).
More than one, I can remember the Sesto vs. RT12 S showdown as well as the Urus vs. FX50 showdown, for starters. Word to the wise: If you're in a D class car, just don't bother trying to flat spin over the cruise liner in Barcelona. Damn thing cost me 6 points off my score... Mardi Gras cup? Well, now you're reminding me of 7's New Orleans track...
Hey, the contest for today disappeared. Is it only me or something general? It was a 1-lap race in Nevada with B-A class cars.
Did gameloft remove double credits power-up from the multiplayer streak reward? Because i have won 9 streak few times, but never saw it anymore. @VirtualBoyFreak try closing the app, disconnect wifi, reopen app, connect wifi, and just wait in the asphalt main menu. I had similar problem few days ago.

But I haven't got the Corvette maxed out. In fact it hasn't got any upgrades Out of all the usable cars, the Shelby was the one with better specs I had.
Yeah, I hate people who do that. Luckily I haven't been affected by those type in a while or I dodge them. It's gives me that superstar movie racer feel when I dodge them lol. And currently, I'm tired of any map that is 2 laps lol. But yeah, London, Barcelona, and Nevada get played too much for me. I prefer playing Tokyo, Monaco.
Ya it is funny now.. .But the first time it caught me off guard for sure. And London is flat old, I bet out of 20 races or so I ran London 14 times...no joke Now I never get nevada it is one of my current favs.... love tokyo rev too and that is hard to pursued folks to run as well. They seem to know me, London and Iceland....and I hate the later track like crazy
As long as I remain in the top 50k with my score, I'm happy. I want that x1 free tuning kit, which along a free nitro I have will allow me to get 5 stars in some 1-player races
