I hear you, just hard for us at times as well on this end of things. When the leader board in both tourny's is full of the top 100 with times that are not even possible. Would be nice to see it cleaned up from time to time with in a four day or more tourny.... Thanks for constantly updating us here though Ryan!!
Indeed. Wow, I didn't expect that. And I still can't quite catch up to you, but judging from how my times vary, I guess it mostly depends on getting that last barrel roll just right. Oh well, #150 is good enough for me. EDIT: It's just a bit confusing that you guys seemed to have stepped up the TCB'ing (sorry about the typo! ) and cleaned the Lycan cup roughly once a day, while the Olympic cup has had those hilarious 0:45 times for days. That looks like a reduced effort to a naive observer like me, and that's what made me speculate about differing priorities regarding car vs. non-car cups. As always, I'm probably wrong.
In the end for the current time I have up it was making sure to triple boost off the hill jump down to the last jump and right after I pass car#2 on the right I just slightly swerve to the left to gain a straighter take off angle toward the finish line but yet still off the jump. Then key was hitting the right spot on the jump to have enough hangtime to clear the fence with out going to high and slowing down... I bet I have 20+ runs at this once I figured that it was the fast path.
It's not that there differing priorities at all. I understand how that might seem like the case but in all reality it's not. Lists are updated when the Dev team has time to do it, but the removal of hackers from the game and verifying of times is a daily process. I do think that as we run more of these types of events, the process will become streamlined and the lag time between updated leaderboards will be more aligned with what we saw in the Lykan cup. Hang in there as we adjust! PS It's okay about the typo, I still think you're cool You needed to participate in the Lykan Cup, which recently ended, or you can buy it through the garage when it becomes available at a later date!
I just started it a little while ago so I do not have a ton of time in it. But I have been able to reach 1.25.387 so far and I feel like there is about 2 seconds or more to improve on that time if a person can hang on to this beast in the tricky spots for the speed you are moving at in those areas. To make it short since I am still working it out my self... you need to hang back gain infection... right before the first corner and take out enough cars to increase your time of infection to be able to carry you to the finish line with out loosing it.... Take the tunnel for best time but oh man that is super tricky to say the least... This car infected is a monster... Have fun Edit to add : you need at least the tuning kit.. I have both but I really am not using the nitro boost... Wish I would have know that..LOL Edit to add#2 : This is in the Lykan to...I should have said that up front.
Here's a minor problem I have with ghost races: Most challenges I get are boosted these days, but I don't have boosters active 24/7. So what I sometimes do is race those boosted ghosts without boosting my car and see how I do. Sometimes I manage to beat them, and even if I don't, I learn something from the ghosts while trailing them. Unfortunately, though, Asphalt 8 deletes challenges as soon as you enter the race, which means that later on, when I have active boosters again, I can't find those challenges anymore. In my opinion, it would be nice if challenges were deleted only after you beat the ghost, or in response to actively dismissing a challenge, but not after losing or canceling a race. On a related note, I think I'll stop racing ghosts on tracks that have obnoxious traffic, such as Monaco, Tokyo, or London. Those races boil down to memorizing all oncoming cars, and I don't enjoy that.
Lykan is now available for purchase 550k I think it's probably worth it from all these fast times I'm hearing people get with it
Guys, i need help here! So, in the last few days i haven't played A8 as much as usual (just grabbing daily reward) because i'm a bit busy. And i noticed something unusual when i play it, there wasn't any tournament. The last tournament i participated was the olympic day 2. Since then there aren't any tournament in the main menu, such as the olympic cup day 3, 4 and so on. I'm using iphone 4S, have connected to wifi, and can join multiplayer race as usual. So, can someone help me?
Reload Asphalt or do my technique disconnect from your wifi then load the game and connect to the wifi. It always work for me if I can't see the tournaments
You make some god notes RB...I prefer to not use boosts in the whole ghost thing but a bunch of peps do so to run that ghost down in a lot of cases they are needed. Bummer...I dod wish that there were two sections to that. Boosted and not boosted that would be more fun IMO.... I could not agree more with the traffic circuits...Monaco and tokyo for sure.....Monaco for me is the darn worst.... and the grid position it gives you vs the ghost sometimes to just makes it pretty hard. I seem to still see challenges after I run that track as long as I do not take the challenge it is still there after beating the time. I like to learn too and would be good if they stay

i've got the lycan. I am actually playing olympic day 5, my best time is 01:28 using the Koenigsegg Agera, how the hell they can make 01:22 ?
