@VBF, I need to see your ghost more often and some more of your times in the tournaments. I always check that out and even though the rest of the guys here are really giving me a run for my money and thrashing me as well, I still like to see more competition out there. @turbo, why only four? For any of the new guys, add me up, same username. And welcome on board as well to the new ones, you guys have given me some great tips over the last few days and here was me thinking I knew all I needed to know. I was wrong, so thanks for the walk throughs. Particularly the current week one. Yesterday's tips knocked about four seconds off my time so I now feel comfortable to use the boosts and try and crack the top 1000 for this one.

One bug I have to report: I have just achieved money for the LaFerrari, bought it, went to the "Electric" race (Season 6 or 7, at the bottom right), but I cannot choose the LaFerrari to race in it. Why? It's an electric car. If I had known I wouldn't be able to race there with it, I'd have bought the Silver Arrow S class (much uglier, but better specs). I can't even reach the top racers with the Survolt...
I try to, but your times are always way ahead of mine. I'll have to invest on fully upgrading some of my cars to catch you. This morning I barely got a time below 1:20 to achieve 2 cups in the Olympic Day 2 Tournament. I'll keep on trying though

Hmm that's strange. Has anyone else had this issue? I thought the car was put in as an electric car and would have assumed it would have worked in races that it is eligible for. I'll mention this to the team but I would like to hear if anyone else has had difficulty with this car, in particular this specific race.
It is not an electric car...it is sort of hybrid at best..... main motor is a v12 6.3 liter producing about 789 bhp in real life the small electric motor it has just adds to the output only on demand as well not even all the time. So internal combustion is its main game for sure....
Nice work man!! Cuz that is a grind for sure... I either ge put up against much lower ranks so I get 1 or 2 per race... hackers.. that speaks for it self....then the races I should be in and those are fun but still only net 4-5 per race...1720+ that will take a while indeed

Spot on turbo...laferarri is exactly that... It's a faux hybrid, meaning the electric motor helps with low end torque that is hard to get out of big v12s...that's why you'll notice how quickly the laferarri accelerates, as opposed to the f12 berlinetta...a maxed and boosted laferarri is almost the fastest accelerating car in the game and real world for that matter, and the half hybrid engine allows for that...other advantages of the hybrid system are break cooling, "stealth mode" when just regular street driving and the obvious fuel economy for cruising and highway speeds...very similar mechanical design to the Porsche 918
Also can someone tell me how to add on GC and then how to see those friends in asphalt...the only friends I can see to race are my Facebook friends... Anyone feel free to add me... Juniorg22 on GC, same as on here
You need to do it through GC by user name you can add... It seems to take a little bit to get them to show u pin asphalt for some reason but that is all I have been doing here lately
Citroen random swerving? Has anybody else ran into this problem? Sometimes when I'm driving the Citroen, it randomly swerves to the side and often causes me to crash, even though I'm driving perfectly straight. I have found that this happens most often in the Toyko map, especially when you are about to jump through the mall shortcut. It is crazy and I didn't know if this was a glitch that happens to everybody or if it is just me. I have never had this problem with any other car except the Citroen. Any ideas why this is happening? Thanks!
I see. Thanks for the explanations. Anyone know the Silver Arrow specs? I can't find any engine info on that one, only the fact that it's a concept car with loads of futuristic technologies.
It's an FEV — a fantasy electric vehicle. It starred in a movie for the 2011 LA Design Challenge, so I'm not sure if they ever actually built one, let alone came up with a realistic engine concept. Asphalt does consider the Silver Lightning a pure electric vehicle, though, so you can race it in those electric-only races. (If you're interested in a fully upgraded Silver Lightning's stats, let me know, and I'll look them up.) By the way, the concept car itself was actually called Silver Arrow, translated from "Silberpfeil", which is what Mercedes racecars were called in their heyday. Gameloft, however, chose to name the car after the abovementioned movie it starred in. That short film's title was "Silver Lightning".
Well, i went from 1774 to 1750 in 3 races, its safe to say i have that i dont care mentality now. Its funny how as soon as i started using A class cars, races became less predicatable. Its like flipping a coin. If i race the scion (which i just won like 20+ straight races in a row and was still on a streak) then the game is too easy and boring. When i race A-S cars, the game is too wreck heavy and unpredicatable. At least it is more interesting so i guess i cant complain. Atleast i got to rank 94. Edit: Now im 1729. This game is mentally draining. Actually getting depressed because of how unlucky i am getting. Not to complain but its not like im losing because of my driving skills. Every lost i've just got came from some cheap knockout, my car spinning out of control doing basic jumps (like my car doing barrel rolls from flat ramps causing me to wreck), or the person who starts in front of me has the same car or better (and if they dont mess up, they win). I deleted the game a couple days ago but i re-downloaded it. Im slightly addicted because a lot of other games bore me so nothing can grab my attention. i really just want to delete this game for good.

That's funny: That blog got it wrong, too even though the concept images show the right name. Seems to be a very common misconception. (But hey, it looks like they actually built the outer shell!)
