I think it is, very slightly though...the image above was drifting around the last corner with almost a perfect race...I just posted 00:52:808 for 250th by going off the last jump only I didn't cut the corner I just did a low flying barrel roll...having said that I had a sloppy turn after I landed so I can't really yet for sure that it's faster New best time = 00:52:668 I hit the last jump perfectly with a barrel roll just high enough to cut the final corner but low enough to maintain speed...and that time was without any knockdowns at the beginning AND too much airtime off the first jump... I'm now thinking low 52 maybe even high 51 if it is absolutely perfect and cut more of the last corner
Thanks so much guys!!! So i used the walk through that juniorg22 mentioned and the barrel roll at the last turn is the fastest way to go. Also, the key to a fast race is not hitting the wall when you drop off the bridge around the 25 second mark i believe. With that strategy i managed to post a 52.536
I think that knock downs at the start will only slow you down and the nitro isn't needed with a max Lykan, i didnt knockdown anybody
Okay since there has been alot of action since I was here last I will try and remeber it all instead of quoting I am getting ready to play and dont want to waste any more time than nessasary Welcome Juniorg22 Syu's play by play is just about spot on. If you read other posts I have you will see that I mention details... what I mean is how might all corners were taken and drifts that need to be very short and precise were just that... along with path taken, knockdowns and how much speed is lost in doing so, how many objects were you able to take out along the way and was the run completely clean... clean is huge when chasing the top spots because you will gain the Perfect Run nitros and in certain cases that can give you a chance to skip a bottle and take a tighter line in some cases. You can run what feels like the same run over and over and yet get very different lap times (particularly when we are looking at tenths and even hundredths of a second) Now with the jumps the only thing I will add or say is you can be in the air and it is fine as long as either the gain from the nitro out weights the time wasted... or in some cases as 22 pointed out you do maintain speed in the air or very close so that the extra nitro then takes over the minimal time lost in the air. Ground is faster than air, but many times the nitro gained by the air will be faster down the line. In the case of what you two are talking about I have tried it several differnt ways and I feel like the ground is quicker. You do loose speed in the air on that jump for most of it till you are the way down, then 22 is right and you do speed up but I still think it is a loose IMO.. The first drift mentioned by Syu needs to be right you are out of the tunnel and loose traction but get it back quick to gain the blue and two yellows (their is a third on the left right before your last chance to bail but you do not need it and it will make you go off the left up the hill and I feel that right is faster.) up the hill and bail off the bridge in the gap about half way like Syu said. But I stay inside... here for me this is a detail... it is hard to time this right but I think it is faster.. Darn near all cars you pass give you the near miss and I think they are important. If you car looses the boost over the bump headed down the high stretch then do the triple boost deal to spin a double off the jump. Then I get the blue bottle just miss he bus but I stay tight to the right and just miss the last of the two cars and run the line to turn and grab the bottle all in with out ever getting off the bottle. I feel this run done perfect is a solid 52.2 ish run..... but all those details are a bitch to get all in a run for me any way and that why I am stuck in the .8's Jmart That sucks man... I feel ya and hope for the update too soon. I have adopted the I do not care about my rank thing for now. Other wise I will end up on the news Well I guess maybe I should waste the rest of my night trying to get this 52.2 I am talking about... LOL...I just do not think 51's are possible but heck who knows... Boy if you do it will indeed be perfect for sure
Keep them true side and you are good with them. I do not think you can get fast times with out them... I have tried that and was stuck in the 52.9's and 53.0's Edit: After running for a little bit now again... I need to retract the fact that I dont think a 51 is possible.... but I am still not totally sure.... I did just run a 52.359 and it had room with flaws of mine in it....
That is a bummer... my set back is of a different nature... I loose one tenth upon upload at the end of the race every time (slower internet connection) so that sucks when chasing down the top times that can be a bunch of positions... But I guess its better than what you have going on for sure I should not complain.
Yes! I was about to come here to complain and you took the words right out of my mouth. I just did a 1 hour run and many times i passed the finish line at 52:5 ish but yet the time shows 52.8. One very clear instance was when i cleared the finished line and the time still runs for a little bit after that. I was watching it closely, i cleared it at 52.7, it disappears at 52.8/52.9 but yet when my time appears it is 53.1. Bugger! I guess i should go home and play with my trusted wifi connection, and all will be well. It just sucks to realize i might've hit low 52 and still being greeted by high 52. edit: oops did i say stay on left after bailing from bridge? I mean right. Or middle, but i prefer right.

I was ranting a bit about the renting costs of the Lykan, which I now do not have. Demmit. Maybe I can buy the car in a few days, when it's available and I have enough credits. I think I was a little frustrated about the fact that I can't reach your times, I love the walkthoughs though! In the second day tournament I had a lot of succes with a maxed Lotus. The Alfa didn't cut it for me, without boosts. The Lotus took a little practice, but got under 1:11 without nitro or tuning kit. Can I save them for multiplayer .
There's a (dormant) thread for that. And if everyone filled out the "Game Center ID" field in their Touch Arcade profile, we wouldn't even need that thread.
Of course. Now that boosts are so easy to come by in multiplayer I always use them. You pretty much have to to compete now. Plus if you are a good racer and use boosts in multi you'll never haver to worry about not having them.
Ya I only know this after I went over to my parents house to play once I thought it was happening and found that on that super fast connection when the timer stops that is what it loads but not here at home. I loose basically a tenth on every time I run. So the time I have now is 52.3 something and it was a 52.2...sucks bag... And welcome Ricky... 51.9 that is what I think is basically the limit so great job indeed!!! I have sore wrists from trying to get that number last night
I don't have access to any part of the game to handle bans, reports or anything like that. If you've been banned you have to go through our support team to get unbanned. If they aren't super responsive then I can help! Otherwise, I was skimming over posts and might have missed what this was originally about. The three day weekend has me catching up on a TON of stuff haha >.< I am not sure honestly. I'm not a Dev and don't have the tech knowledge needed to say yes or no. I understand where you are coming from though. Nothing is worse than playing online and having your connection crap out. Currently all of our games/ideas for games are developed in-house. We don't have a place for players or Devs to drop off ideas for games currently. EDIT: If anyone is having trouble with any placings in tournaments, feel free to PM me. I'm not sure if the team is done getting all of the hackers out of the rankings or not, especially for the Lykan tournament. I'd be happy to check though if it seems like a lot of people are still listed that shouldn't be.
Some weeks ago, after reinstalling the game and buying the B car pack (D&C already owned), I said I'd report how touch controls (steering wheel, auto accel) work. After these weeks, I must say they are fantastic, back to what they were when the game was released. As for the credits, I'm also getting a lot through championships and the 100% bonus for each day played. I've unlocked season 8, but I reserve those races for the 100% extra bonus for each day played. I'm trying to get 100% stars in previous seasons meanwhile. Kudos to GL for making this the most enjoyable arcade racer for iOS IMHO. It's one of the very few free-to-play games done right. I anyone's interested, in a few words, this is what I have: - D, C, B car packs IAP (I spent around $25 in those, but now you should be able to get all for around $20). - All the "original" A cars except the RUF. - The first 4 of the S cars (Lambo, RUF, Spano and FXX). - 250k credits (I want the LaFerrari ) - Seasons 1 to 4 complete at 100%. - Some cars with upgrades, but not many (up to level 3 maximum). And I'm missing: - All the "special" cars (Renault from D class, LaFerrari, etc.). - Some "original" cars. - 100% completion Since I don't have too much time to play, I believe I've found the best balance for me between IAP car packs and in-game currency achieved through racing towards a 100% completion (in a few months ), but someone who had several hours a day to dedicate to this game could easily achieve 100% completion just by playing a lot. I'm enjoying the online championships too. They're a great addition towards playing a bit each day. More kudos to GL for keeping the game very enjoyable. And GL Ryan, keep up the good work here
Wonder if you all know.. I have not been a big GC user in the past so why is it that I have four of you as friends now but I only see one of you in the game it self?
