Dude I feel your pain... I never even got that high because of all the same stuff happening to me plus I have even wrecked just hitting the nitro?? WTH.... I dont think so. That is why I adopted the "I dont care" now... and just let me times speak for that. In about 8 or so races I went from 1658 to 1547 and I won one of those.....Man was I pissed :D

One day the new update will fix the jail break and it will be really fun again for a while. but even then the hackers will be back just depends on how long.... Getting as high as you did is a big goal that I would like to commend you on:cool:

Keep in mind that the numbers do not tell the whole story... Some of the cars have stats that look to be one but they can be another....Particularly in the handling and acceleration categories.

Yeah, I agree. For example the Mclaren has acceleration numbers that are decent but less than the Elemento's, but in practice I think it has better acceleration than the Elemento.

Yeah I also find the. McLaren to be one that rockets off the line.
It always catches me unawares at the start when I'm racing against it.
Hence I use it a lot:)

Ya the McLaren is good and I do love to drive it time to time... But the Sesto is still quicker and faster and handles better... I have done little time trial checks with all of the cars I thought super quick and wanted to see which ones would get me in the first corner and get that bottle first so I would know. I cannot beat the Sesto with any car (several are right on the back door though) to most (not all) bottles that are first it the track. There are exceptions of course mostly the ones that are a long run to that bottle. But the Sesto can hold its own even with a good portion of the S class cars in the right hands/tracks, and how easy it is to drive fast too

Have you guys experienced weird flat spin/barrel roll? It happened to me once in multiplayer, my survolt did a 360 degree front flip with perfect landing in nevada. The guy behind me must be like, how did this guy do it lol. I have no idea how it happened and neither can I replicate it.

I haven't done MP as much as I should have. I've had the game since it debuted. I paid the $1US to download when it launched. I won't call it the best dollar I ever spent, but it's pretty close.

From then, until yesterday, I had ran about 300 MP races, had a 1350ish rating (~2800th place). I had mostly done A/S class runs, with maxed rides. NOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! Just disasters waiting to happen. That's why I didn't do it more often. I wanted to rock my fastest cars, but unfortunately, every single one of those races is a crap shoot, for more reasons than one.

Running Bird knows the deal. It's all about the Survolt. Moderately loaded, with nitro/tuning boosts, you basically can't lose. I went hardcore, practically 6 hours straight. I finished 2nd four times, and third once. I won the other 72 races, most of the time by 10+ seconds. I went from a ~1375 score to 1518 in 6 hardcore devoted hours.

I'm ready for my next bout of A8 Gluttony. MOAR!!!!!!

And GL Ryan, my gamecenter ID is: NineNines, and I promise I'm not cheating. I fear you might have gotten some complaints after the whoopings I dealt out last night. I did find some great racers, in the meanwhile, and I never once saw any evidence of cheating. It's the Survolt, RB. You were right. Keep it at the right stage, and it is amazing. That thing gets off the line like Usain Bolt.

It's incredibly unpredictable, but when you hit the barrel roll ramps just "wrong" while trying to execute a spin jump, you can sometimes get crazy results. Occasionally, you'll get a super fast side spin, other times you'll get a slowed down mess. Records are set on those jumps, on accident most of the time.

    Ryan,

Is there any way you guys can change the game so that we don't automatically lose in multiplayer when our internet connection times out? It's quite annoying. I lost about two hours of progress in the rankings yesterday because of this. I know you want to prevent people from quitting to avoid losing, but I'm not aware of any ways to intentionally time out one's internet connection without suspending the application first. I think it is fair for suspending the application to result in a loss of points, but not something players have no ability to prevent from happening.

I think you are right about better overall lap times with the Elemento, but I consistently torch Elementos off the line with the Mclaren in multiplayer. Maybe I only get paired against sucky Elemento drivers? Lol. I can't really compare the two directly because my Elemento is maxed and my Mclaren is maybe half maxed (though acceleration is). I'm not going against maxed Elementos in multiplayer, more like ones with little to no upgrades.

Also, it's funny, I have to upgrade my 599xx higher than I want to just to avoid those darn Survolts! I can usually beat them but not always. The 599xx crushes everything else I've been against.

That would be nice but you could always disconnect your internet manually or swipe up from the bottom of an ios7 screen and disable wifi if that's how you're connected...I tried the latter in the past.

Some serious things need to be changed. The game is addictive though, makes me want to play it even though it upsets me. Its like the only game that is good at arcade style multiplayer/gameplay.

I have never understood why people hack a game, let alone a free one. What sense of accomplishment do you get from being high on the leaderboards from cheating to get there?

Yeah, I could sit next to my router and pull the plug, but that's kind of ridiculous. Only a few dedicated souls would bother to do that consistently. I'm not a programmer, but I would think there is a way the game could tell when you intentionally turn off the wifi in the ios7 swipe screen vs just having a connection problem. When my internet times out, the game should be able to tell that my device's wifi adapter is still turned on.

Yeah if there's a way they can differentiate that would be great.

Hear hear man..... I guess now they just get satisfaction from seeing how long they can control such and uncontrollable car.... The folks I run into crash at least 5 or more times in a race.. .I guess that is fun:rolleyes:

Yes in lap times and in flat out off the line too. I have both the mentioned cars and both are maxed. I cannot hang with the Sesto period. but I am right behind it till the speed of thee Sesto stats to take over.... That said the La Ferrari looses in the real short haul but can just about pass the Sesto just down the line because of the same scenario.... So many tracks demand you into the first corner first, and that is were I feel the Sesto has just about gotta be King for this....

What I find really weird is that I sometimes do barrel rolls off of flat ramps. And I'm not talking about catching the side edge of the ramp. Like I've done barrel rolls after going straight down the middle of the big flat jump next to the bridge in London. Also in the series of flat jumps right before the finish line in Tokyo (the parking garage area with the yellow and black jumps).

But yeah, trying to flat spin off of curved ramps often has crazy results. Makes sense though, vs random barrel rolls off the middle of a flat ramp.
