I can see it on mine now. They were probably clearing out some times 1:38:805 is equal to position 1146 so I think we'll be fine as you're only milliseconds behind and Syu just ahead of us. And then RB miles ahead of us. Its amazing the gap the milliseconds translates to though, very touch and go. It'll amuse if I get it though because this is the one I've only had 6 runs at because I had very little time this week, literally my least runs ever on a tournament and if I'm thinking right, my first car win. I do like the sound the car makes and suspect it will be a heavy purchase. On the Ferrari one, you're not the first to say that actually. I guess they had some server issue or other. The cars available now for 215,000 so I must get it later on. Looking at its rating, I think this will be my go to multiplayer car from now on. The top speed will need some upgrades though but I'm gonna try out level 2 on the rest for now and see how it goes. On the Ferrari thing, its worth sending in a report to support through the game option. I wouldn't guarantee anything but I've always found if I'm nice to them, they are nice to me back. Worth a shot anyway. It does sound like a server error though. And on the Valentines tournament, man them hackers really are stupid with utterly ridiculous times. But on them, I think I have to give up on my Laferrari. I made the mistake of fully upgrading it and came across a lot of multiplayer hackers. I can still get a top three because the hackers can't drive em with the hacks anyway, but they are annoying. One guy had a no knockout hack and spent the whole race trying to knock me out. It didn't work and I managed to get the knockout pop up 5 or 6 times with him but he always reappeared directly behind me. It did amuse me though because he was pure useless and still finished behind me. In the same race there was another nitro hacker and he would pass out, streak ahead and then hit a wall so I just sat back and waited for him to crash again. Which he did 7 more times. 'Twas hilarious. Between him and the other guy I still won but barely because I couldn't stop laughing at how useless they were. The next race didn't work so well for me but it was worth it just to see how crappy they are at the game.
This is a good point but I just want you all to know that while you may not be able to tell a racer is a hacker because of a "normal" time, we can, so the appropriate actions will be taken. There's a chance that right before the event finished that there was another push by other racers, causing you to get bumped down. However, if that's not the case and you have a screenshot or something to prove your position in the leaderboards send it in to our support team and you'll get the right gift! With the push for more TLE's like this there are things we can continue to improve on and I know the team is working hard on ironing out all of the kinks. Yeah, mine showed up again, thankfully. I was worried that I was wrongly identified as a hacker and got banned from the tourney or something of the sort, haha. I really want to try the cup run again but I don't see the worth in spending another set of boosts just to satisfy my craving in a perfect run (+i'm pretty sure the car is in the bag right now so more runs will just be a waste of boosts and credits) I just started multiplayer (lv 14) so I don't have too many boosts to spare. My free tuning kit is down to x1, and my credit booster as well. With 6 runs you can get high 1:38.. Man I love how little you spend to get that car. You basically get the car for just 20k! If you have credit booster active, that is. Just out of curiosity, I am pretty sure you guys can get to top 2000 leaderboards on Ferrari/Pagani Huaygra. How come this is your first car win?
Good question really. Got in the top tier for a lot of the non car tournaments but for the car ones, it just didn't work out. Probably for the obvious reasons of an upsurge in hackers since the jailbreak came on scene. Plus with some it was top 1000 or top 599 or even top 499 so much more challenging. Other than that though, I'm taking my position in this one as a sign of the effort put in to get the hackers out and whatever different measures they've introduced. I'm with you on the conserving of the boosters. I'd also like to have had the time to just wipe a further second off (I'm looking at your time RB) but I'm in there so I'm happy enough. And yeah, I have to say I did get in there cheap. I didn't have the credit booster for all of em so it did cost about 39,000, but that's still very cheap. And funnily enough I still have 8 or 9 credit boosters anyway and about ten each of the other two, so I'm not really sure why I'm conserving em. Probably because I had little or no time for multiplayer either this week beyond one 9 race run.
Wow, the upsurge even booted honest capable player out of top 2000... That's worrisome. Good thing it seems to be better in this cup. Dayum, in my book, you've got plenty. I am down to x1, x3, x1 for each hahahaha. I only activated each of them twice, so you know that I am conserving out of necessity.
Meh. I wouldn't, if I were you. It really boils down to how lucky you are with those initial knockdowns, and spending time on that seems like a waste, considering your current rank. Good luck with winning the car, everyone! It really looks like Gameloft is paying closer attention this time — I went from 2xx to 4xx over night, then went back up to 2xx an hour or two ago. So I'm counting on seeing your Lykans in ghost races soon. Me, I don't think I'll use the Lykan in multiplayer much. It's a bit too fast for my tastes (not just because of the cheaters — racing those super fast cars is like playing the lottery), and worse yet, it doesn't come in black. If it isn't black, it isn't a running bird.
Well not quite out of the top 2000. I think is the first car tournament with 2000 being awarded first place. The Ferrari 599 GTO was the first 599, the laferrari was first 499 and I'm pretty sure (but not 100%) that the Pagani was 1000. For the Lambo I can't remember but it was less than 1000. But yeah, the jailbreak and its associated negative attributes, be it hacking, cracking, file modification, iap theft and so on has certainly caused all the problems. Of course there is legitimate jailbreakers out there who are fair but they are unfortunately massively outnumbered by the unscrupulous cheaters who hack and people who use it to thieve. Sorry if that's harsh but its the reality and why Apple is going to shut it down with the next update and has a closed ecosystem in the first place.
A bit discouraging to find the top times are still obviously impossible, but oh well, atleast they got rid of a lot of the hackers.
What a joke! I somehow ended up number 2008 in the tourney after all the hackers. Please tell me they are going to boot the cheaters before they give the prizes. If I miss out on this car because of the cheating, I really will be done with this game.
I'm pretty sure there will be another purging, so keep your hope up. I counted at least 35 people whose time is below 1:35. You get 1:38+ and it was rank 2008? That's quite a shocker. I am at 38:7xx and ranked 1200+. I guess rip's prediction is true that the final entry to 2000 leaderboards is late 38. @rip73: Ah, i see. I am really lucky to have chosen this cup as my first tournament then. I didn't know it was so bad for previous ones. @runningbird: Did u knock all 7 cars with side knockdown on your 1:37 run? I find side knockdown to be really difficult. In fact, i only learnt from this cup that back knockdown decrease your speed. Haha. It has been educational. edit: What event is the shortest and easiest to grind for you? I chose a knockdown-with-rival event because I can just launch the event and let it run for 3 mins before earning 2,300 credits for participation. I know it sounded lazy but as i was working and did not have the time to concentrate on racing, but i need to grind credits for lykan cup within a day, i find this method to be pretty good since you won't get tired as easily. multiplayer win still only earns me a little over 1k so it's not worth it yet. Do they give higher reward based on ratings in MP or based on level?
My 1:38:805 was good for position 1276. Milliseconds made a huge difference in position but looking at the top 100 (as it is now) that didn't use boosters, I would too hope JMart that you get it because there's exactly the eight positions you need in there with no booster at all. And that's ignoring the guy that's currently listed at one with an impossible 1:28. Let us know what happens because I would be curious and hopeful that they are wiped off.
I'll keep you posted on what happens. I hit the wrong button last night on my time. It was 1:39.2. The top 100 is a joke and that is all I can see so I hope they do the right thing and boot those people before awarding the prizes. Nobody can get 1:33 with no upgrades and you still can't get 1:34 or 1:35 with the upgrades, even with a perfect race.
I got a cheater. Knocked me down 11 points, im so pissed. I am grinding to get top 100 then i get knocked down 11 points? Can this be fixed or something because i was rank 121 now im back to 126.
I agree Jmart... I would need to see any 1.35 for my self to believe it no matter who told me they did ligit.... I darn near feel that way for the 1.36 as well, but I do know a few folks that reached high 1.36's and I am fairly confident they do not cheat. but man I tell you I actually do not know how to dip in them waters and lord knows I tried... for a while too. I am sure they will not award the hacking folks prizes but I hope they run the back log and award those who should have been instead. I do not know if they do that or not. I know the feeling although it did not happen to me chasing top 100 multi rank... but I did loose around 100 points in one night just a week ago to a fair majority of those &*^ %&$#@!^ and the steam could have been seen from a long way! I turned three of them into Ryan..missed an other screen name due to just flat out being pissed... but no matter what it does not get my 100 rank point back dam it. Took me a little bit of effort to get that high. I dont care now, and I do have more fun with it. If I get back up there so be it, I just let my times show my ability now. That screen shot should help Ryan get that dude nailed! Was that a two lap race too? Sorry brain fart right now but I think it is right.... That seems fast for that car no doubt. With them and or any cheat in place it does through the whole system so out of whack. I have ran into people ranked like me or less that I have a hell of a time beating and some that are ranked with me that I just smoke by 10 seconds or more... SO they have been lucky enough to miss the hack fest maybe? I dont know....But does bum me out as well to say it lightly Cheers
I like to go into season 8 and run the top star required tracks for practice and credits. When in double booster those all net me around 8k or a little higher.. First win of the day is just over 14k...FYI
Any versus is the best earner. I run the final ones season 8. It nets me 4000 each time and then double for first race of day and then double again with the credits booster. Its a quick easy race, much easier than knockouts or any other race so whatever is the latest season you're in and the deepest versus/one on one race is the one to go for money.
After unlocking season 8, stars are only used for achievement and season 8 stage right? I just wait for daily reward (also using double credit) before unlocking other stars in season 8. That way, you can get 50k+ for first place and the other two bonus objective. When can we get the reward from the Lykan and Valentine tournament? And for some reason i can't seem to access those two tournament.
