Is there any way to see my own best times and scores, for the career-events? I know I survived the S8 Island gate drift, mentioned a few posts before, but I have no idea with how many points. Am I missing something here?

Select track and then add ghost. You can see your score and friends scores.

I could use some help with a line for the Huayra Cup. My current time is 1:19:034, so I'd appreciate it if those with faster times than that would share a bit about their route.

Thanks if you can help. :)

Wow, nice video Habakuk. Also, not perfect but I consider only missing 2 gates (I think I counted correctly) is pretty darn good! I'd love to share this on our social media accounts in the US if that's cool with you?

Yeah man, I can do that. It'll be on the US Gameloft page, so I'm not sure if you'll get redirected there, also on our Google+ page and Twitter profile.

I'll probably put it up on Twitter today and FB/G+ tomorrow morning. I'll post the links directly to the posts once they go up.

EDIT: Here's the link to the tweet https://twitter.com/gameloft/status/427926003751481345

Great! Please tell the developers, programmers and designers that I've never experienced such a well balanced, polished and exciting high-tech video game. This is not only valid for such crazy events like the challenging Gate Drift where you need a lot of precision and feeling for the "rhythm of the gates". Let alone local multiplayer when some buddies with almost the same skills are fighting for milliseconds…

Thanks for those brilliant bits & bytes! Asphalt 8: Airborne is the best supercar racing video game of all times (of all consumer-level hard- and software platforms). Keep up the good work!

I COMPLETELY agree!! Words cannot express how much I LOVE this game!! This game has been developed CORRECTLY and gives the player an EXTREMELY enjoyable experience. I don't mind grinding for credits AT ALL because the game is so fun, that I just completely forget about about the pay rate. xD

I've already grinded nearly 200,000 credits, and the game is still on my device with me playing it almost everyday! It's one of my PERMANENT apps. :)

AAA+ Game (rating beyond AAA). ;)

I'd think so, too. But consider this: They never had to practice as much as you and I did to win races — especially in career mode. Most of the infinite nitro cheaters I've seen in multiplayer weren't actually very good.

Oh well, I won't miss the cups much. They are just one tiny aspect of Aphalt, after all.

Well, you can't really do that.
What times am I gonna use for my benchmark?

I'll grant ya, you do always beat me by milliseconds (milliseconds may not seem like a lot but its an eternity in racing:)) but I still need a benchmark to know if my time is in any way close to good.

So, sorry, I'm still gonna need you to put in a time.....

Ha! How about you just answer my question about the rank of your favorite multiplayer car, and you can get your benchmarks in multiplayer? :D

(Not the same thing, I know. I guess I'll try again once the measures Ryan mentioned are in effect.)

What's up with the increasing cheats in MP? Many times lately I have been leading by a wide margin on many different courses (on full nitro, no wrecks, no wall skims) only have someone absolutely blister me 5 to 10 seconds from finish. I just finished MP Venice Classic with the FXX and was leading the whole race (no cars even on the map), just as I came under the small bridge at the turn to go onto the RR track I had a much lower ranked car (and player) show up in front of me - at full nitro, then they were no where in sight and finished FIVE seconds ahead?? What's going on?

Any advice, feedback on how to deal with this would be great

    Not heard of tht one.

It seems most people like using a lower rank car, D or C as most of the cheaters drive A or S.

With each new update people will find a way to use new hacks and then our team works on addressing those hacks with either hotfixes or by including patches in new updates. We are also monitoring live events to make sure that the leader boards aren't filled with hackers.

I make a note of hacks that are mentioned here but also reporting them to our support team is a great way to get things documented. Especially if you are able to take screenshots of the possible offender. Here's the link you can use to report hacking issues: http://support.gameloft.com/Home/SupportForm/283/

I use rank D cars all the time for just this reason.

    Koenigsegg Agera in Action

    In action! (It's me driving.)

    Comments please! :D

    Wikipedia:

The Koenigsegg Agera is a mid-engined sports car made by Swedish car manufacturer Koenigsegg as of 2011. It is a successor to the Koenigsegg CCX/CCXR. The name Agera comes from the Swedish verb 'agera' which means "to act” or "to take action".

It was named Hypercar of the Year in 2010 by Top Gear Magazine.

The Agera is powered by an in-house developed 5.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine which produces 940 hp (701 kW) at 6900 rpm and 1,100 N·m (810 lb·ft) of torque at 4000 rpm. Total weight of the engine is only 197 kg (434 lb) thanks to a carbon fiber intake manifold and the aluminum construction.

The Agera R made its debut at the March 2011 Geneva Motor Show — with a ‘Speed Racer' livery theme, special Michelin tires and a Thule Roof Box – although its existence as a production car was already announced prior to this. It is in essence a special edition Agera, which runs on biofuel, rather than petrol. It can accelerate from 0–100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.9 seconds and reach a theoretical top speed of 440 km/h (273 mph). The Agera R is one of the world's most expensive cars, with a price tag of $1.6-$1.7 million.

Wow, you're good. What do you use to capture videos on your iPad?

    Thanks. :)

The game was played on an iPad Air (128GB Cellular iOS 7.0.4) and the video was wirelessly (both devices logged in the same WiFi/WLAN) recorded with the app Reflector (OS X 10.9.1) on a MacBook Pro Retina; it's super-easy and the notebook acts as an AirPlay receiver (switch AirPlay on your iPad/iPhone via Control Center where your Mac or PC will show up as an option when Reflector is running). Uploaded to YouTube with iMovie.

    Link to Reflector:

(Should work with Windows PCs as well.)

That is one awsome race Habakuk!
Just installed reflector on my windows pc, works great.
I just have to figure out some more how to record and I'll post a multiplayer race here...if its worthwhile of course

    Edit
    Damn Windows 8...
Recording your device with Reflector for Windows is currently only available on Windows 7.
