Game Impressions It seems that the "almost fullscreen" advertisements for other Gameloft games (once at the game start) are gone! I haven't seen them since 24 hrs. As long as it's not an error: Thanks, Gameloft! Will wait for another two weeks to see if it's true and then set up my voting for A8 again to five stars. This was the last ad I saw, well, not an ad exactly (see attachment). But it was in the same "window" as the ads. Nothing against SUCH "ads" (new cars, here a Lotus for class B), they're welcome! (Strange btw how they can add cars without updating the app.)
First off I think that's just this weeks advert. Secondly, you really dropped a star just because they know show an advert once when the game loads; which is for GL games, and is closed with a click. I know we early adopters paid for the game, but only 69p.... Thirdly, I alway look forward to reading the thread when it's you username as the last post! It always seems to be something positive and enjoyable to read
I know it's in the list I cars. They are using the ad spot to advertise you can now buy it! As opposed to advertising another game. I expect next week it will be back to advertising a game!
You're right. It's Season 8, London Elimination, B Class. London reverse! Strange that they didn't add this track for local multiplayer as wellÂ… Ryan?! It's the only track that doesn't offer reverse direction in local mp. Minor complaint: After each race, there are some statistics in a list scrolling automatically. Prior to the last A8 update I could scroll manually as well (when the auto-scroll was finished afair) when I wanted to look up some parts of that list. Why is this feature gone?
That doesn't do it. All in game notifications are off, all push notifications off and I still get those damn Game Center auto match reminders. Am I the only one?
Thanks. That's annoying. I want it to sync all my achievements so I guess I'll just ignore it. It's a silly feature because if you actually try to use it all it does is open the game. Maybe that was gameloft's condition for having Game Center achievements.
Been playing alot of A8 both on my ipad 4 and note 3, it is really cool. Fun playing with moga joystick on the note 3, this game is fun on a joystick.
I've been having a lot of fun with the cup challenges. The one that started last night is giving me some trouble though; London with the Mini. By following the line that has been best for me before (and the same as the friends on GC - "kastner" on there, say you saw me here), I'm 5 seconds shy of the 100th place and 9 seconds short of 1st. If I change the strategy a bit (taking most jumps, drifting a little, etc) to keep my nitro active (almost) the whole race, I end up with almost exactly the same time: 1:39.something. Anyone here able to get sub 1:39 on it?
Most of the top times typically have their car maxed out and are using nitro stater and tuning kit. I don't even bother trying to get 3 trophies unless I already have those options. You'll end up blowing more currency than it's worth usually.
And your car is maxed? If so then it's all about the route. Do you know you have the fastest route worked out?
There is a chance that more tracks will be added because like you mentioned, we didn't add all of the reverse tracks in. I also don't know why the feature to manually scroll through the stats is gone. I'll have to test it out later today to see.
