Thanks for the tips on MP, and good to see that it is possible to become first without having to cheat. Are the cheaters in the tournaments too? Yesterday, there was a one-event tournament. I became first, and when I checked last, I was around place 3000, two hours to go. Today, nothing there. Not a tournament has finished message, no prizes. Did that happen to others than just me? I finally got myself all the stars in the game, now I'm acquiring enough credits to buy all the power-ups. I've been racing MP with a fully loaded Alfa 8C, that was really nice. The fastest way to earn credits, is playing tournament matches over and over again. Most of them reward about 3500 credits for a one-lap match. Of course, S8 elimination is the best, for when you're watching TV or something.
Loaded this back up cause I got an ipad 4 now. So is there still going to be an ios 7 optimized update? Progress transfered over great.
Yeah, I was wondering if an android could play a8 bluetooth mp. So the answer is no? Can they play mp on wifi?
I really don't know a thing about A8 multiplayer But i believe that having connected to a same wifi network would work. Like MCPE
No there isn't a way to play across different operating systems, so Android can't play with iOS. Also, to answer your other question, the game is updated for iOS 7 and has been for a while.
There is no local multiplayer option at all for Android devices. At least when I checked it some months ago.
I'm running iOS 6.1.2 JB. You do make a point however about the faster cars, I frequently use a fairly suped up Ferrari FXX but most recently since the update I have bought the B2 and notice frame rate issues driving that.
There is on all operating systems that A8 is on. We demo'd the local multiplayer on a Note 3 at a Samsung event a while back.
Okay. Thanks. Then I learned something. When I checked it half a year ago (or is it one year?) with some Nexus smartphone there wasn't local mp. (A7 iirc.)
Oily London Rather late we realized that you can crash into oil barrels in London. There are two places with oil barrels, one of it is in a tunnel (with 4 barrels). When you crashed into them chances are that there is even more oil on the streets behind you. But be careful because in the next lap the oil is still on the roads and it could be YOU who starts to slip and catapult. The hardest curve in London: The place with the Victoria Memorial. On the pinnacle is a golden statue of unclear entitlement (a goddess?) and arguably relating both to 'Peace' and to 'Victory' (you can see it on the attached screenshot). Forget the nitro bottles (in the outer lane) and take it tight. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victoria_Memorial,_London
Ahh gotcha, yeah A8 offers different features than A7 and that's probably why you didn't notice it in the older game.
Yup. Just for the records: iOS devices support local multiplayer since A5. Bluetooth and WiFi (A8: WiFi only).
Mp is fun! Over 2250 races now Most of the races I use my survolt, very few cheaters around! Sometimes I enter the top 100 but its hard to keep ranking up...respect to Running Bird Its about time Gameloft introduces MP rooms so I can race some of you guys here...
