Thanks. Will look out for the update. Got it on the ipad and I'm 3/4 season in. So I've stuck Asphalt 7 on the iphone as I never got the chance to play it properly first time round.
I've had to stop playing because of slowdowns and hiccups in my 4S with ios7. Hopefully the update will fix these...
This may be a dumb question, but can someone explain to me why I keep seeing asphalt 8 in my gamecentre under 'Turns' 1 game awaiting your turn?? I keep deleting it but keeps popping up, who am i playing against as it doesn't say! sorry forgot to mention, when i click through it tells me I'm playing auto-match player and ask me to pay 69p.. for what though I haven't a clue?!?!?
I've been getting that as well and I have no clue why. I'll see if I can email some people on the A8 team and find out why that's been popping up lately. I'll post back if I get an answer!
2/3rds of the way through level 7. No grinding thus far, but my Class A and S cars are barely cutting it in some of these races and the cars I need are expensive. Some races are starting to require the electric Mercedes which is virtually unobtainable at $325,000!!! Still, I did manage this achievement today. Pretty proud of myself. Over 10,000 credits from a single race. Won all 5 stars in a single race with just the stock Corvette. Also, if I have any advice for new players, it is this: focus on getting as many stars as possible without spending much money. The more stars you have, the more levels you unlock which means more races you have access to. Try to win as many of these races as you can with as few cars as possible. Which cars? Look at the prices. They increase pretty steadily and then the last couple or few in a class are really expensive. Save up for the last reasonably priced car before the price skyrockets. I got a lot of use out of these: Alfa Romeo MiTo GTA Lotus S Ferrari 458 Corvette C7 (maybe wait for F12berlinetta) Ferrari FXX I also liked the Citroen Survolt so much. Won a ton of races with that car. Those 6 cars were my favorites thus far. Enjoying the game but it is like Garage Manager 2013 in some places. I find myself making lists of which cars cost how much and net me how many stars so I can figure out what cars to buy. Takes more thought and effort than I would guess or like. On the other hand, I think I will make it to Level 8 without technically grinding for money, although I do feel like I am grinding for stars.
Hey, why is Alsphalt 8 being a dick and telling me that "it's my move" in game center, when I don't play online and it's not a turn based game anyway?
No idea, haha. I really doubt it since it's a car racing game but stranger things could happen. Based on what I've seen though, no planned updates include motorcycles.
I know I mentioned this earlier and it's in the Gameloft FAQ (Asphalt 8 crashes on iOS7) but also happens with Asphalt 7. Can't play either of them on the iphone 5s. Any ETA on a fix? x
