Asphalt 8: Airborne (By Gameloft)

Nice. I hated A7 so much I kind of ignored everything surrounding A8. I think this has fixed the problems I had with A7 by simply making the drifting and overal driving smoother.

Plus, with the lack of good racing games on iOS, any racer with actual real time multiplayer is welcome on my device.

Didn't realize it was so close, lookin forward to it.

 

I can't believe you you didn't like A7. I find it excellent and have no problems driving and drifting. It's one of the very few gameloft games that I like. Very much looking forward to A8

 

I can drive and drift easily too. (Another problem -- too damn easy) it was the sketchy physics and animation or whatever. Felt crappy to me. Like I had almost no control due to the pure lack of any kind of smoothness. I played it and kind of enjoyed it for one or two days, which was all it took for me to finish the game and decide I really don't like it all.

It's a rare racing game I dislike... but A7 just didn't click for me.

That being said, A8 looks awesome and I'm very much looking forward to it.

 

It's maybe 11th because Rovio's Tiny Thief is also coming on that day.
