Haha, I don't think so because we are looking for content that is either like drawn, created in photoshop, etc. If it's just a SS of a game that's something we have access to already. We are looking to see how creative and fancy you all can get
i never thought i'd say this but i think i have to thank RR3 for this!!! i can clearly see from the car model, the effects and physics that gameloft tried to catch up. and they did a lot more than that! i'm sure they decide to develop this new engine right after the release of that first RR3 teaser back last year ...... cauz this is too much of a gap from A7.
They basically just said they don't give a damn about your screenshots. Not to mention several other car manufactures, the NFL, Star Wars, and a few other things.
As I said already weeks before, I'm pretty sure the "delay" has something to do with the iPad 5 and we'll have to wait until September. My assumption (hopefully I'm wrong): Apple will shock release iPad 5 in September. "Available today all over the world." Gameloft gets the new hardware earlier (these days) so they can test Asphalt 8 with it. Apple will feature iPad 5 with iOS 7 and brilliant working Asphalt 8; that's the best they can do believe me. All of this is planned since weeks and months and with all the leaked/seeded wrong release dates, videos and screenshots they are just hyping A8—that's okay for me; the perfect arcade racer is easily worth all the brouhaha about. The only official term I ever heard was "This Summer" (first trailer video). And summer ends September 21st or so. So you won't be able to blame Gameloft for a lie. I can't remember which Asphalt version it was exactly but I wondered then how they could launch an almost perfect software on almost the same day when new hardware was released. I am sure Gameloft is privileged and gets new hardware some weeks early. Anyway. I've already put aside 929.89 euros for the new new new iPad and the gorgeous Asphalt 8: Airborne. (And some local friends here are doing exactly the same.) Keeping free 6 GB on my iPad 4 since July (to be prepared for any shock release). Again: Hopefully I'm wrong with my assumptions.
