Well, I was totally unaware that there was someone from Gameloft here O.O. Pity it got delayed so, fingers permenintly crossed that Infected Wars doesn't get delayed... That seven bucks is burning a hole in my iTunes account.

We are definitely trying to bring the best and most polished Asphalt 8 that we can to you all. I really appreciate you fine gamers understanding and only holding a few of my family members hostage.

I'll definitely keep you all in the loop with information as I get it.

Most definitely, regardless of studio size I think interaction is key, especially in the video game industry.

    Look out your window.
How about reading the replies to the post you quoted before asking that.

Again, go on Asphalt's official Facebook page, find the #2 teaser trailer, and look in the comments. That's where gameloft made that post.

The comment is still there. I also thought it was removed, but its there. You need to collapse the thread and then click on the gameloft post/replies to see it.

Does it really matter if its still on the Facebook page or not?
The Gameloft community manager for the game, Ryan, has been good enough to come on here and let us know directly.
Read back a page. Or two. Its easier than posting a question for something that's already been answered.

If you want to see the original post from the Asphalt FB page along with what I said earlier then feel free to check it out here.

Just make sure that you click on the link that says "Asphalt - The Official Game replied" and you should be good to go. Not sure why the other link keeps saying the page is gone.

I respect Gameloft but that was a Wrong Marketing Strategy!

    Anyway...
    Let me hunt some screens!

Its not really bad marketing if they are fixing a bug.
Better to fix now than fix after launch.
Fixing after launch would be really bad marketing considering it would damage the game straight away with people posting complaints everywhere about whatever bug is being fixed.
Delays are much better than game damaging bugs.

Definitely not a marketing strategy. It's just we never announced an official release date. We are however, working on bringing out the best version of Asphalt 8 that we can! Hopefully everybody understands and will still hang around until it comes out :)
