Some official Asphalt 7: Heat trailers (just for judging background music) from an ancient time (half a year ago) when Gameloft's trailer videos supported even effect sounds *) Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel Some local friends here (and me) are 100% d'accord: Best techno music ever offered in a video game! Impressing. You can even play it in AAA dance clubs. And that's not a matter of taste—that's a fact, joykilling JBRUU! I almost always switch off in-game music even when it's good (hate repetitions). Never did that in the Asphalt series even in race #10,000. And here is the first (old) trailer video of A8. I know it has been posted before, but the music alone gives me the creeps: Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel Even better! VERY VERY VERY FIRST CLASS MUSIC!!! I tear up, really! Welcome in the third millenium! Fits perfectly to the awesome game. Not overloaded—almost simple and contained, but at the same time ear- and mind-shattering. TOP! And believe me: I am a frequent visitor of the best techno clubs all over Europe! (Although never been in GB what I regret.) *) And actually there is original effect sound at the end of the (perfectly edited/cutted btw) clip. (And what an effect sound!) Maybe even the better solution for trailer videos I must confess. The music of the newest trailer video is not bad but too fast, too trancy. Kind of overkill.
It will be. Well, looks like it will be. The android release date is confirmed as 8th August. The general assumption is that iOS will be the same day. Its an accurate assumption.
Spring next year for the new Audi R8 Sorry. Not to worry though, it won't be that Ultra thing. Evolutionary seemingly.
Evolutionary? I don't think so! Pretty much the same thing as Ferrari FXX. You can see it in Le Mans! Much more appropriate to compete with Ferrari and Lamborghini, by the weight and aerodynamics. It's time to change... Audi R8 is too sedan!
Audi doesn't have to compete with Lamborghini, they own Lamborghini. And they have Lamborghini to compete with Ferrari, so they're covered. Porsche is who it really competes with and Volkawagen Group (which owns Audi, which in turn owns Lamborghini) owns Porsche anyway. Complex corporate financial structures, gotta love em Oh and Lamborghini Carbrera (Gallardo replacement) and next R8 will be sharing the same structure underneath the body work. Just variations of tuning of engines and suspension. I think it'll be Asphalt 9 before they appear in game.
Exactly. I was gonna say all that but decided it wasn't necessary and just said it was cooler. Lol. Well said and all that.
Can't await playing Asphalt 8: Airborne on iPad 5 next month: http://www.macrumors.com/2013/08/01/silver-ipad-5-rear-shell-appears-in-new-photos-with-ipad-mini-styling/ Instabuy. The iPad 5.
After researching the Ultra some, it's not what I thought it was from the weird sketchy concept thing Dant posted. I didn't realize it was the R18, which is of the R15 line. I still don't like it, but it's the same dislike I have of the Zonda. Which isn't really a dislike. I hate all techno. The new trailer almost made me throw up. But all is forgiven because of the GT-R
Welcome in the Asphalt thread! Both of you are too narrow-minded my dear. I love all kind of music. But for sure there exist good and bad examples of each music genre. The techno in the Asphalt series is the very best of it's kind. This is a fact. The very high techno style fits perfectly to the hightech supermusclecars and the absolute hightech software programming. But I'm sure you'll be able to play Mozart's Kleine Nachtmusik as A8's background music. I LOVE classical music. And JAZZ. And some FOLK. And and and… (The only music I refrain from is popular music.)
And yet... This doesn't change my mind.. I like a lot of music, most music in fact, if done right. Except "popular" music, and techno/dubstep/electronic. In racing games, the engine is my music.
Well Rip... Thanks for the Brands&Cars class... Let's wait for a better Audi R8 design, something more agressive! Guess... I'm Electronic Fuel Injection generation. That's why I like Prototypes, Concept and Futuristic. You guys: Carburetor generation... Vintage, Classic and Old Design.
Precisely. I didn't mind a few of the songs in NFS, but I always turned that game's music down and the general sound up. A7, music always got muted. Just wish we could mute that stupid announcer, too.
