Asphalt 8: Airborne (By Gameloft)

Snow? Weather effects?

 

when is it coming out its been a long time??

I'd love some weather effects, especially dirt physics.

 

I'm a little bit sorry, it was really hard getting a good picture of A8 cause the graphics are so fast, and that when I took pictures from my ipad 3, the car is always on the side of the road, and the picture kinda blurry.

This is in stark contrast to my pictures of Modern Combat 5 which are so pretty cause I could just be at a full stop cause it is an FPS when taking a picture.

I kinda got so engrossed playing A8 that I kind of forgot about time. Actually I think I played 3 tracks, the dessert one was actually the least deserving of screenshots, but it was the first one I took.

I don't quite remember if the car driving physics changed alot from one track to the other, but compared to A7, I think it is much improved.

But I don't remember if it was Tokyo or some other city, but man, those tracks were fun, and there was one track that had all these tunnels in them. They actually felt more like a space racing game like wipeout with constant 360 degree spinning in air, and were really really fun.

To me, the most important thing is the fun factor. I have always loved Asphalt 6/7 but this one is oh so much funner. Maybe less realistic from a driving perspective cause you aren't constantly jumping, trying to land like in a ski jumping game, or doing 360's sideways in air like a scene from Matrix, but wow, at least for me, this game totally rocked.

And plus Gameloft was kind, they gave me an Iron Man 3 sticker, a deck of Uno cards (still don't know what that was for), a can of coke, a donut, a croissant, and a sandwich. Wow! Thanks Gameloft!!!

 

Gameloft made an UNO game back in the early days of iOS gaming. It was one of the first games they made. That's probably where that came from.

 

To be honest I've always saved my turbo for those parts of the tracks. So with that in mind, I've always managed to go pretty fast on the dirt, snow, insert random terrain you might encounter, but I'll have to check it out tonight and I can get back to you all on it.

 

Can't 100% confirm yes or no for that icon just yet. You'll know it when you see it in the App store or on Google Play!
