I'm sorry, but he cannot recieve that degree. He implies the sky is blue the entire time, but it is black with white bits at night and orange at sunrise/sunset
Look, its this simple, the rules state that threads are to be kept on topic. There is some leeway on straying but the title of this thread is Asphalt 8, that is the topic. There is a thread title Gangstar Vegas in the iPhone releases section. Many people are very active there. You would have got a response or actually not even had to ask if you actually read it. Post according to the topic. It is perfectly possible to report posts that break the rules or stray off topic too far. Repeated rule infractions will lead to obvious results. Here's a link to the rules. Read them. http://forums.toucharcade.com/announcement.php?f=2 This is not a personal attack in any form. You should just be aware that using popular traffic laden treads to get answers to unrelated topics leads to reporting. Creating more work for the mods is not necessary. And is frowned upon. Simply follow the rules. They are there for a reason. Random off topic unrelated bumping also breaks the rules so lets everybody try to keep it on topic.
Not unless it still had a legitimate real time multiplayer that held priority over all else. That TSM is in my opinion, RR3's greatest flaw.
Its in a version of NFS Most wanted that's exclusive to the Chinese market. Its interesting but just not quite there on an arcade racer. Don't think it'd work too well with this either at all as knock downs and basically smashing your opponent out of a race is pretty key in arcade. Something like that needs real time. Well, I think so anyway. Which luckily enough, this has.
Exactly That and TSM just sucks. It's boring. You might as well be beating the time on the speedwall. It's not racing.
Oh and Multiplayer also allows you to wreck everyone while they're still there, and not through some lame TSM. Something I bet KJ would enjoy doing.
Enjoys* doing. I love winning with the pressure of having your opponent trying to do the same. You don't get any of that with TSM.. You already know what he did, you already know how he did. There's no real variables other than your time. I love beating times. It's the ultimate single player experience (video games or real life) for me. But it doesn't need to be made out as actually racing someone just because there's what's basically a ghost lap. Racing, as with any sport, relies on how you handle immediate situations. You race with your head. It's you and your opponent. Two people, two cars, two minds. (or three or four or fifty) TSM works with competitions, lap times, drag, drifting, etc, but not a straight up race. An additional TSM feature alongside real time would be cool, but should never replace real time in a game like this.
Menu. Like Lerisbo1192 pointed out. You can chose different genres for your radio music while racing, which is a nice touch.
Word of advice, when you're in a hole, the first thing you do is stop digging. This really wasn't that big of a deal to begin with. You're new, you didn't know the rules, whatever. We get it. But now that you know them, just apologize and respect the rules from now on. Anyway, what are the odds this comes out Thursday? Was there actually an official press release from GL that said its coming in July? I haven't been able to find one.
I have to stick up for the guy. iPhone isn't that smart and tries to auto correct what was already correct to begin with
Dude... Follow the rules and shut up! What's your contribution here? I posted 50 screenshots to share with everybody... I said, everybody! And you?
I'm pretty sure there's bother sync and async multiplayer here. Highly doubtful they'd do away with the MP modes. Yeah, but the concept just sounds too cool to be abandoned.
