Thats not just an introductory price, it'll be 99cent all the time. Obviously there is iap but the iap merely is a way to unlock next levels immediately. So basically for the impatient because all the levels are unlockable by playing as normal. No grinding as such. Very similar to A7 basically which is very fairly balanced.
Here's a site/article that mentions that price..They are repeating the proces from A7,it seems... http://www.imore.com/asphalt-8-airborne-shredding-its-tyres-summer-099 Edit:I think it's confirmed now since its been posted on gameloft's blog..here's the link..Now that's one heck of a purchase for a buck!! http://blog.gameloft.com/index.php/2013/06/11/asphalt-8/
Well is a good thing for me.First I won't be around this Thursday SADLY.If it was an introductory price I surely would have missed it!
Really excited for this game. The last Asphalt was a joy to play from the start till the end, and I expect this new sequel to be the same.
Yup, surprised they haven't added it sooner. Must be a pretty resource intensive effect. My iPad says bring it on Speaking of resource intensive, I do hope the framerate is acceptable. A7 had an awful framerate on the retina iPads until a few updates ago; I don't know what it was but low framerates in racers are almost as bad as low framerates in shooters.
Kind of like all videogames, which are just little lights changing colors very quickly according to a predetermined pattern.
