This does look insanely good, but I can't help thinking, for me at least, that as the speed increases with the faster cars it will be a side to side crash fest (at least it was in A7) which made me lose interest real quick.
I just don't believe the screenies being so detailed. So I'm doubting they are in game. Don't get so butt hurt...
I don't believe that's the case this time. Control over the cars appears to be a big focus. The environments are far more hazardous as well so uncontrolled riding the track edges/walls at max speeds won't be a factor this time.
Ouch! Yeah we'll it could be that. To be honest I much prefer Sim racing to arcade, so that's part of it too.
No bother. I have a feeling you'll enjoy this one a lot as it should be the new king in town. Arcade wise. We'll have to wait and see. But not very long.
Now I know this wasn't a reply to me. But you fail to realize that for example all screens I have posted here in this thread are grabbed from my iPad while playing the game. So yes the screens are that detailed, it is in the game.
I would guess as much. I did originally suspect it would drop anywhere between last Thursday and next Thursday. But at this stage, I'd guess this Thursday coming would be the safest bet. But you just can't predict as easily with Gameloft now as there has been some very random release days of late with them. I do believe it will be this week though just not committing to a particular day. Thanks for that. Hopefully all graphical doubts are now allayed.
Funny thing about this one... Can you guys see written Asphalt 7 Heat up ahead? And Asphalt 8 on the car plate? Strange...
I suspect Heat will continue to be supported and get some random updates for a while yet. It has sold in bucketloads over its lifespan so its not quite ready to be put in legacy because of the large user base on it.
But in order to see the advert, you need to have bought A8, so I can't see them getting many A7 sales from within the next game
