No. But look at the screen I posted earlier (a few pages back) of the giant mech. Look at the small bit of the map, you can see about six short cuts in that small part of the level. The amount of alternative routes in each level is staggering. Also someone mentioned fog. No there isn't fog, but there is a giant space ship taking of, covering the screen in smoke for a few seconds, which is insane to drive through.
