I'm enjoying it. I don't think it quite competes with consoles, but for an iOS game it's gotta be in the top 3 racing games. I was surprised at the lack of retina support though. Is it just me or does the game lower graphics quality on the fly? Seems like it's sharper at the beginning of a race than the end, like it's scaling it down when it needs to maintain performance or something.
Well, if you already have NFS I would say no. If you don't have NFS then it is worth the space probably. It's not running at full retina on the iPad 3 to ensure a proper framerate.

Am I the only one who thinks that asphalt 7 runs like crap? Using an ipad 4, graphics look nice but what's up with the framerate? It's like stable at 20fps or something. My s3 seemed to run it better from what I remember
Absolutely. BTW you can delete Asphalt 7 and re-install as often as you want. Your scores and settings are all saved in the Gameloft cloud. If you have NfS:MW: I've got it and played it for one hour. Showed it to some friends. Then deleted. We are happily playing Asphalt.
Doesn't sound normal to me. Framerate has been solid on my iPad, and yours is more powerful... but perhaps the increase in graphical quality is greater than the increase in power.
Also agreed, I'm glad someone said this before it got silly. I think both games are great anyway and am glad I bought each one. There are differences in them but damn, I'd delete none of em cause there are both great fun and definitely pick this up while its free, you'll never even have to buy iap and you'll never regret playing it. And then pick up NFS MW as well because its also great and well worth playing.
Nah, it is a great game, ignore what jbruu says haha... Anyway, didn't you play asphalt 6? It is just a slightly better version of that. But otherwise, try it, a lot of people like it alot, including me.
Yeah, same on the new ipad. I think after the ipad 4 update, the graphics got better both on the new ipad and ipad 4, but the framerates went down. Stable, but could be better for sure. It almost feels like the framerates are locked or something.
Guys, what are these insane times in the contest in Asphalt Academy? I drive averagely good and i cant even think to do it for less than 3 minutes, and the best time is 1:49?!? I mean, i can do this with tier 3+ car, fully upgraded, but with tier 1?! And it is fully upgraded too. I just dont get it how is that time possible. Anyone of you near the best time?
^ No. Forget that crap. People are cheating on jailbroken devices. You can find them in online multiplayer races as well. There is sometimes one car that manages to start three seconds early, you can see that on the map. Career mode and local multiplayer mode are the strengths of Asphalt 7. And I have no problems with framerate on iPad 3 and iPad 4.
Im planning to delete my a7 since the nissan juke r update not come out yet. Does a7 have rocever save game like real racing 2? I afraid i lost my level80 and all cars upgrade.
You have to create an account first in Asphalt Tracker, then it will backup your progress. When you reinstall the game or put it on another device, you login and it prompts you to see if you want to download the saved progress.
Im playing using FB profile. (180hours gameplay) Asphalt tracker profile(90hours gameplay) So if i delete the a7. Can i recover the save game on my FB profile? Thanks for your answer grizzly.
iPhone 5 baby. Clean, smooth and efficient. Sadly it's deletion time has arrived. Bought all that I needed, won many multiplayer races. Used and abused the game as much as it deserved. So when's asphalt 8 coming out... I started pretty late on this game but I played it hard and maxed everything. Good to know I proved my worth in multiplayer as well. Delete... Next please
