I'm worried that like asphalt 5 the game becomes a super fast mess in the later half of the game which ruined the game completely.
your automatically put in last place of every career mode depending on your car speed, then you get these points that add to your adrenaline.
What racer should i buy :/? I am not THAT into racers, but i enjoy them once in a while, mmm i love Mario Karttt lol, but i dont know what to gett RR2 its pretty expensive, NFS its cheap, that make it bad? and now this :/, any advice?
Great game. Not only have the graphics improved but also the gameplay is much better. There's lots of variety in vehicles too. I prefer Real Racing 2, but both are good games. It really depends if you prefer realistic racing games or arcade racing games.
i JUST LOOK IT IN THE APPSTORE, IT LOOKS AWESOME , WHY NOBODY TALK ABOUT THIS GAME? :/ DO YOU THINK PEOPLE STILL PLAY THIS ONLINE???????
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mjNgJTCUyEU i MEAN SERIOUSLY IT LOOKS SO COOL! but why is this game not known :/???????? well i looked for reviews and they say the steering feels weird, now i know less what should i do !
Well, NFS and the Asphalt series are probably closer to Mario Cart because they're more arcade-like. RR and such are more sims and are trying their hardest to be realistic. I would go for A6 or NFS. Too bad there isn't that one perfect kart-racer on the app store. Many have tried, but there will probably never be a mario-kart clone that's worth it. I wonder if Gameloft would even make a good clone..
Thanks for replying , yeah i hope that gameloft can pull off a MK clone, or maybe a Zelda clone in the future
I had an ipod touch 2g like a year ago but then i have to sell it like in March of this year, and I just bought an Iphone 4 this week, so I am kind of new in this stuff =P D:, but thanks for replying, mmm i think i will get NFS because its cheapp
Ah, right. NFS: Hot Pursuit is a good choice. It's great value and there will soon be a major update which will hopefully make it even better
LBG - Are you far enough along in the career and car buying to know if the game gets too uber fast and uncontrollable like A5 or if any of the event types are 'broken'? I'm getting older and I prefer my driving games to not be tests of my reflexes. I've got Fruit Ninja for that ;-) - Greg
Not yet. It starts off pretty slow, so it should be ok later on in the game. No events have been uncontrollable (so far). In fact taking out other cars is pretty easy and satisfying when you see their car crumple and the shards of glass flying out. One thing that is kind of annoying is the steering has a little "dead zone" where you have to tilt it a certain amount in either to direction actually steer (even with the sensitivity cranked up to maximum). Although it's probably just me being picky after playing Real Racing 2 with perfectly smooth steering. edit - disregard my complaint about the steering, I just cleared up some memory and playing again and the steering is fine.
graphically this looks like a big improvement over the last one. Are the screenshots telling the truth?
I found RR2 had a sticky 'dead zone' - until I turned the steering assist off. Maybe something else in the A6 settings could help with that? And I have NFS-Hot Pursuit so am waiting to DL the updated version. I deleted the original as I got tired of driving police cars all of the time. Will be interested to hear if, having NFS-HP, if A6 makes sense to buy. The likely plan will be to see what the NFS update offers, enjoy RR2, and wait for a $.99 sale on A6. But I COULD be persuaded if A6 is REALLY good ;-)
