uh, yeah. Gameloft makes overpriced crappy mobile ports. Thats it. Their only good game is siberian strike, which is also their cheapest at 99 cents. All their racing games suck, real soccer sucks, and oregon trail sucks sooooooo hard (animation is good but in the end its just a mini game festival, and a crappy one at that).
'Kay, we all have opinions. I don't know why people love Real Racing so much, it's fun, but it's not something to orgasm about.
I will never forgive Gameloft for what they did to Asphalt 4 with that last update (raped the controls). That said, I've enjoyed many of their games, from Ferrari GT to Siberian Strike to Midnight Pool to Brick Breaker Deluxe. Lot's of polish in their titles. So I'll keep my eye on this for that alone. But if Asphalt 5 controls like Asphalt 4 (hereafter to be known as Ass Fault 4) after the stupid update, then it's a definite "Hell no" from me.
If they can successfully pull off local and global multiplayer with voicechat, then yeah this will be worthwhile. Just wonder how Apple is going to allow voice chat when they seem to censor every other potential avenue for swearing in an app. Control features of an app by parental control maybe?
lol @ 'raped the controls'. I agree with you that Asphalt 4 wasn't the best control-wise, even from the first version. I think it was mainly due to the fact that it was one of their first major games on the platform. They were so used to developing games for mobile/cell phones that they messed up big time when they tried to get the controls right on the iPhone. But it is nice to see that their more recent games have evolved since the days of Asphalt 4. I love the controls (and gameplay) of Terminator Salvation, I just wish there was more content. Of all the games that I have played on the iPhone, from the launch of the app store to the present day, I can honestly say that Terminator Salvation is the most console like game in my opinion. Back to Asphalt 5, the cars models look nice, but I'm not too sure about the environment. I think gameloft is tricking us into thinking that it looks good, but only because you are going too fast to see it . I think I will pass on this one, it looks too similar to Asphalt 4, and as you say if the controls are the same/similar then it is a definate no buy. I think I'll stick to Real Racing
I've heard that one before. I don't think it does the game justice, it should be called 'Major Ass-fault'.
you having a george bush moment? hehe also, i agree, this looks way too fast. and we don't need another racing game since RR came out, we need a motorcycle game like road rash, c'mon!
I just love the battling aspect of road rash, also the racing gameplay was really well tuned ( I still play road rash to this day and love it ) you could really get into it. The best part was racing until you were at level 3 or 5 and having some really long races.
I'm tired of these NFS games. I want more stuff like Real Racing!!! F1? Rally? Where the **** are them?
You are not Alone... I loved the Video, I needed tissues once I finishd, well Don't get any wrong Ideas, I had to wipe the KEYBOARD, Its very slimy now. No one wants to be FLAMED for their Opinion or choice.
No, 2XL supercross is a dirt bike game. I am talking about an on road SBK, MotoGP game. It car terms, it's like Colin Mcrae Rally and Gran Turismo. They are both different games. IMO, there are far too many car games around and not enough motorcycle games. Anyway, who wants to drive a boring car when you could ride a motorcycle. motorcycles > cars IMO.
