Ugh, I know! I don't like it at all. They should have considered the age of most people who would be likely to play A5. That voice makes it sound childish. AWESOME! I might just pick up both A5 and NFS Shift. But I won't be getting either until Christmas, so I have enough time to decide.
It's really odd none of the other big dogs have brought their racing games to the Appstore (besides Fishlab's Rally Racer Pro). Imagine what Criterion, Codemasters, Disney Interactive, Atari or Rockstar Games could do on the iPhone. And racing games are guaranteed hits.
I think, that the 123 voice is the same sound bug as seen in Asphalt 4. A4 had the bug that with later 2.x Firmwares all game voices and sometimes the engines where pitched up and sounded like helium voice, I think thats the same case here. Maybe Gameloft copied there sound framework and didn't "bug it out" I don't remember if A4 got fixed within an update, deleted A4 after I had Fastlane & Ferarri GT on my iPhone...
Yeah, seriously. I'd really enjoy the big dogs if they actually came here to make great games. Even if I get both Shift and A5, I'd replace them both for Midnight Club if it will ever be developed.
Surprised this isn't on the frontpage. Does this trailer's appearance mean that the game could be out in a week or so? Cause that's what happened with the other games like Blades of Fury and Dungeon Hunter.
There's a chance Gameloft is planning on bringing full online multipler in a future update. Yeah I know they have been iffy on that in the past, but I think they really want to get Gameloft Live online off the ground, plus there's this: www.touchgen.net/asphalt-5-hands-on That was Sept. 3.
If Chinatown Wars and that Music Game sell well, I wouldn't be surprised to see midnight club on iPhone

+ Me.. This guys really made the iphone gaming something else, all the action/adventure games i play are just from game-loft.. I can say without them, people will be so frustrated with there iphone/ipod touch

3d graphics look ugly on the iphone? check out the upcoming ravensword, eliminate and Nova and while your playing your 2D games, excuse me playing Nova when it comes out
Sue them for it if you have enough proof, Gameloft is the best no doubt.. Any of there game that requires copyright, they obtain it. Like shrek kart, they got the dream-works copywrite. so i think you are wrong.. Maybe you need to checkout there games again and see how unique they are.
