Cprloe! Nice game cprloe, completely dominated with 10 constructs! my worst loss every with cprloe getting a score of 140!!!
Once again, the lack of a chat function rears its ugly head. For the record, I think it was 11 constructs. Thanks. It was one of those games where all the center row cards and my card draws just broke right for me. When someone gets on a roll acquiring constructs, I have yet to find a good way to stop from being totally destroyed, especially when none of the cards you could use to defend against that strategy show up in the center when it's your turn. Aaronius80 just killed me in a game just like that. Other frequent posters have done the same a few times.
Thanks Cprloe and Art of Foundry for the nice games we had!!! Looking forward for more!!! I really hope chat will come fast...it's the only thing I really miss in an almost perfect game (that and I think it sucks a bit too much battery on an iPhone 4S considering the type of game). Since I bought the game 1 week ago, I didn't played anything else and it's still fresh and fun as day one. Scarypharaoh!!! I do not know if thanking you or being mad at you for letting discover this gem!!! I can't have anything done!!!
You close up shop and try and win before then. Void units and heavy attack. I still maintain Snap Dragon in the first 2 turns with no reply will give you an 80-20% chance of winning if you're a good player.
Bought, and it's awesome! O.O One thing im abit sad about though, seems there isn't many long term games going on, i found like 6 overall games at all, and 4 out of those were 10 minute games, while the rest was a mix of other times, i had like 7-10 minutes to do my turn, else id be booted. Any chance there are times where i can find games th at actually goes on for abit longer? Maybe im spoiled by games like Wordfeud and Hero Academy where i can make 5-7 turns a day, but not having to worry about my timer running out if i miss a day.
I exclusively play 14 day games and 30 minute games. I rather wish there was a no timer option as well, but 14 days is close enough. The 30 minute games are when I want to play a quick, complete game in one sitting. For asynch I always pick 14 day. Avoids any problems on rare occasions that might result in a forfeit for somebody. It's more of an issue for 3 and 4 player games, less so for 2 player games which always go a lot quicker.
Thats cool, im more then happy to play with the active people in this thread. invite me for a game if you want. Name: Eldyth.
oh noes, started a game today with cprloe... crunc, I'm with you on the time limits. Though, I find that even during 14 day games, it seems like you will still have one person drop out... EDIT: Lost, but I'd like to think I held my own a lot better than I thought I would. But he did start to get on a construct roll... EDIT2: This really could use in-game chat... cprloe, you know where you can put that Sordid Asp...
Nice game Pitta! I wound up getting Sameal of the Fallen in turn seven or something and everything just seem to steamroll in my favor afterwards. I promise that most games aren't that lopsided!
yeah - I just finished a game in which my opp., Strivemind, had like 10 constructs, and there was just nothing I could do. The last few turns, he was playing like 10+ cards at a time. Final score was something like 124 to 65 or so. Ugh.
LOL. Nice game!!! Thank you!!! You slaughtered me!!! I LOVE this game....after more than 50 games in one week, it feels still fresh...
lol I think that was my best win yet. At that point, everything snowballs, and the constructs are giving you all sorts of extra cards, resources, and more every single turn.
Heh heh, yeah, it's not easy to get to that point, but if you can, you're pretty much assured a win, and a good one at that. Anyone else noticed that when your opponent hits the Rematch button, the next tap you do outside of the cards will count as if you had also hit the Rematch button? Which means, say you're looking at your cards, then your opponent hits Rematch, then you tap on your opponent's name to look at his cards. Unfortunately, you don't get to because the screen changes back to the game list, and you've accepted the rematch. It would be really good if this was fixed. It makes it so I can't look at both sets of cards.
I'd just like to thank the people that invited me for some play sessions! Im still new to this but hope i'll give somewhat of a challenge. Brings back memories to the MtG sessions i used to have in school.
Yeah sometimes it jumps straight to the rematch and you miss the results screen. Annoying, especially if it was a really close game.
i wonder if its possible to add what monsters you beat also. Aside from the cards you captured. I think that would be a great after-match log so you get a better idea of how you lost. Any chances that could get implemented? (im being picky, its not a huge request)
Thanks for the very tense game ArtFoundry!!! Playing single deck feels like a whole different game, much more aggressive!!! That was tense!!! And thanks to everybody, I'm having a blast with this game. It's a pity in game realtime chat as in Carcassonne is missing....I would like to comment turns and games with you all!!!
