haha, same.. i've been smoked ever since I've recovered my Game Center ID... tough luck of just 4 days of absence.. a lot of games got expired as well

 

I've got a dumb question. Or maybe not a dumb question.

I just got introduced to deck-building games a couple of weeks ago (via Dominion and the Penny Arcade game), so when I found out there was a good deck builder for iOS I was like "insta-download!" (wherein "insta" meant "when I get paid").

So I downloaded it yesterday. Absolutely love it. And want to toss three more dollars for the expansion--except I can't figure out how to buy the dumb thing.

The place where it would make SENSE is that little banner on the main screen that says "Purchase Ascension: Return of the Fallen". But when I press that it just makes a little noise and does nothing. I've scanned all the menus and sub-menus. Seems like I've tried hitting every possible thing to hit, but no dice.

So either I'm missing something really obvious, or something isn't working right. (I did try skimming the thread, but it is long. So sorry if this has already been addressed.)

I'm on an original iPad running 5.0.1 iOS.

 

I'm seeing on Twitter there's issues with IAP's on Apple's side of things.

 

hopefully that's just what it is, though this is the second day I've been trying with no success. Seems like it would at least try to do something? Dunno.

Kitkeat managed to rip 15+ points in a round. I think I am almost done...

Don't get discouraged, it takes a bit to get a feel for all of the cards in the deck and I even still find out new things each day I play. I'm doing pretty good now but I'll have a game where I beat an opponent by 10 points and I lose by 40 in the rematch The important part is to have fun

 

Let s play more carcassonne or something else, then!

@ Camzy : The last games were really fun, and the three days timer is perfect for me ^^

 

Ughhhh, I can't buy the IAP expansion. I click on the purchase icon and it just makes a sound, nothing happens.

On the app description they said they have fixed this. Apparently they unfixed, because it was working for me before.

 

Thanks for the games. You're a good player, definitely a tough match against you.

 

Looks like I'm not the only one, then. Hopefully a fix is in the works!

 

This seems to be an issue on the Apple side. We're seeing it much frequently over the last several days, and the app hasn't been updated in almost a month.

The fix that has worked for most people has been to log out of your Apple account (under Settings->Store). Then launch the app, tap the "Purchase Return of the Fallen" button, and log in again when prompted. Then you should be able to proceed with unlocking the expansion.

 

A nice idea, but still no dice on my end.

Ah well, screw it. Technology never did like me much.
