It is great to hear that we share the same secret "hit list" These are some of the guys I wish to beat them some day. Ah, Dukester, don't worry, you are still on my list...
Downloaded this gem again the other day, I didn't fully appreciate it when it first came out bit I really love it now! Been getting used to multiplayer, still losing most of my games but having a blast doing it.
Don't want to hijack, but it's still a good tribute to incinerator studios: Anyone got any goss on when nightfall, summoner wars, or food fight will be out? All games on the incinerator website say fall 2011. ROtF was also fall 2011 so we can check that one off. Does this mean we're in for a big week next week? Any news?
Noooo.... iTunes deleted the earlier version while Wi-Fi syncing, reinstalled, now I cannot access my online games with RotF anymore. Guess some people out there will be less than thrilled when my time runs out... Sorry folks, wishiwazsmart, Atreyu2005 and others, hopefully Apple waves the patch through quickly. Nowadays you really have to read the small print CAREFULLY before installing ANY update.
Really loved what they've done with this iOS conversion of the tabletop card game. Now I don't need to pester my friends to play me, The SP mode is good enough for me. I'll eventually branch out to MP once I get a good reliable and stable connection.
hmmm, I dunno bout u guys, but my online profile showed that my winning and loosing quota still low. i lost more games than i've won like around 30. might have increased, but of cos winning or loosing is not the whole point of the game, just saying. how's yours?
Been having a blast with this game since the update and the expansion. Playing almost everyone here concurrently. I must have 7 or 8 games going on now. My win-loss record for 2P: 83-94
This is now the second delay. Originally, the Playdek website listed Nightfall, Agricola, and Summoner Wars as "Fall" releases. Then it changed to Winter. And now it says Spring. I don't mind waiting if the app is great coming out of the gate, like Ascension and Carcassonne. But it's still disappointing. Also, I wonder why the "Spring" release date for Summoner Wars is different than the January release date stated on the Summoner Wars forums.
Really? The stats I've got are currently: 399 - 212 Been losing to celeric quite regularly since the update. Good player. I love the update by the way, changes the game mechanics a lot, but in a good way. There are however a few glitches which need sorting out even after the update. Project Alpha is a glitchy card. Rocket Courier, when in play, does not recognize it as a mechana construct, and so it doesn't get put into play immediately once you acquire it. I lost a game because that didn't happen.
Also 4 player games are harder to win because, well, there's 3 other people who can win other than you! Try some 2 player games. You'll still probably lose more than win as a beginner, but you'll get some wins and that will keep you going.
I feel 4 player games are less strategic too. Games are more luck based, because you can't control the board.
I played some fun games against Celeric over the last couple of days as well. I spent some time testing Project Alpha this morning, and it seems to work correctly with Rocket Courier. Are you aware that the implementation of Rocket Courier changes with the update and you now have to drag the card onto the construct tray when you acquire it in order for the construct to go into play instead of into your discard pile? The tray animates out with a green glow when you begin to drag the acquired card to indicate you can do this. However, the animated tray behavior doesn't currently always work when dragging from the void (this will be fixed in an update shortly). But I haven't seen any behavior that would indicate Project Alpha isn't being properly recognized as Mechana.
I also have not noticed any strange behavior. Strangiato - whet is your nick? I wonder if we ever played. And I agree ... celeriac is fun to play against. We play often and often ... well, always and the winner is mostly not predictable. aaronius ... I sent an invite since it is a while since we played.
Cool! I didn't know that about having to drag to the tray now. Will keep that one in mind. The game is my favorite on my iPhone currently, and I appreciate all your great work!
v1.1.2 is now available through the AppStore. This update corrects the IAP issue with RotF. Thanks for your patience.
