I didn't lose my list of friends. They're all there. So the problem is not happening for everybody. I did lose all my current games after the update, but my friends list was intact.
You'll be happy to note, then, that the base game does have two hundred cards. Technically. ^_- This isn't a game like M:TG, though, and you won't be tasked with figuring out uses for fifty thousand slightly different heroes, monsters and spells. Honestly, simply being concerned with how many cards the game has is a bit like worrying about when new types of chess pieces are coming, or passing on poker because the deck only has four suits.
We believe we've found and corrected the friends list issue. It was a server side change, so please give it a try and let use know if it's working correctly now.
I don't want to argue about price. The value judgment of another is no more valid than my own. Still, this reasoning baffles me. What does the number of cards have to do with game quality? Thanks for the expansion guys! A bargain at 3 bucks, IMO. I had taken a break for a bit, but sure I'll be back to playing this daily again. Certainly one of the top 2 or 3 played apps on my iPad/iPhone.

Wake up just then, app badge says 4 games await, actually there are 10+... FPE, sorry, 30 min game is not realistic for this weekend. Switched to 3 days, hope you wouldn't mind. And I guess unless the guy you play with is sitting next to you and certain he/she is always online, 30-min game is not realistic. 3-day would be a safe bet. I pity those who would not spend a few bucks on one of the most beautiful, fun (and arguably) random MP async card game on the platform. Ok, 2 games await, gotta go.
Odd, had to turn off WiFi to connect to the server. Either way I'm back on and can confirm I have all my friends listed. Feel free to send invites, not sure how much I'll be able to play this weekend due to family/Christmas stuff...
Seriously? How much would you have to spend on, say, MTG to get hundreds of cards? With the expansion, Ascensions costs just £5/$8 and includes somewhere in the region of 200 cards (84 unique cards). This excellent game is great value for money. The fact that you bothered to post in this thread suggests you are interested in this type of game. By not purchasing it for the reason you stated, you are missing out on one of the best games of its type to grace the platform.
By the way, guys, I'm just going to play a few more games with the AI to get my confidence up and hone my strategy. When I'm ready to get my arse kicked, I shall be joining you all in the MP world. Every time I see the ROTF acronym, I feel like adding LMAO to the end of it
Great work with the expansion, this game just keeps getting better and better. With regard to pricing, I look back with horror at all the money I spent on MTG back in the day, and the awesome value for money this game represents Keep up the good work!
Stats are broken. Lot of people (even usual opponents) are forfeiting and in my stats my loss increases even if I did not loose! Not that I care, but it is weird. Plus I hate this time thing, can you have not time limit as starting option?
Why the hell do you hate the time thing? This is a genius addition to async play, and something I hope more developers adopt. Want to play a game that goes fast, less async play and more real-time? Pick the quicker time option. Want an actual async game, because you don't have time to sit over your game? Pick the 3 day option. This gives everyone a chance to play multiplayer. What's the problem?
Update not working on iPod Touch 2G While I have no problems with V1.1 on the iPad, since the update on my Touch (iOS 4.21) I cannot select (magnify, buy, defeat) cards in the center row. I rebooted reinstalled, etc. etc. Anyone here who experienced the same bug?
And that is why they got my money for both the base game and the expansion IAP. Really good implementation of the table top card game. I'm pretty impressed.
Ok, I guess I am going to quit and delete this game again and for good. Games disappear and my forfeit stats goes up. What the heck! I was having some fun games and they are all gone and all I did was to have dinner between moves.
