Has there been any news on when we might expect an Ascension update and/or the release of the Revenge of the Fallen expansion pack as IAP?
If you don't have any GC friends that have Ascension, I think it doesn't show anything when you tap on the portrait. But you say you have been playing with a GC friend, so not sure. It should show a screen that lists your friend's ID. Do you have more friends on GC with Ascension?
Howdy Artfoundry! Thanks for trying to help. I have a second friend (on Game Center) that plays it all the time but when I click to add I only see my wife's name pre populated. So on a 3 player game I get myself, my wife and (Open) with no other options to add the third person. I have tried on my iPhone and iPad to no avail. It's really weird.
Yeah, that's weird. You sure your other friend is still listed in your GC friends list? And have you tried creating a game with just you and that friend, w/o your wife?
Yep on both. I checked him on my friends list and he played last night. If I try and start a new 2-player game, as soon as I click the icon to add a player and go in its populated with my wife's name and no option to change it. I even tried holding down on it hoping it would bring up a menu or something. Do you have to have played a random game with them first?
Yeah, that sounds broken (or else some weird "feature" I've never seen). Whenever I start a new game, the first slot is default to Open. I click on the portrait, and I get a list of friends from GC who have Ascension. It never defaults to a specific person. Maybe try uninstalling and reinstalling?
Tried an uninstall and reinstall and the same. Mind if I add you as a GC friend and I can see if I have better luck?
I just started playing this game (bought it a while back) i started a multiplayer game...but when i do my turn...nothing happens...it keeps letting me do my turn over and over and over again with no input from the other player. Even when i exit i still have the badge icon that i havent made my turn....any help is much appreciated.
If the other players name up the top left while in the game is red then that will tell you they've forfeited. If That's the case, then the game just keeps coming back to your turn. Unfortunately I would say the other player forfeited.
I tried playing games and I I played to completion. basically I can't play multiplayer at all. any help? (to recap, when I make or join mp game. I can play my turn indefinitely without my opponent's turn being active )
You disconnected ....... So, if that was not tye intention the problem is your Internet connection maybe. Update, I see it was the intention. So it works, you see? But I have no time for a game now I just wanted to help you check ...l so I will forfeit. Ok?
I started another game and I got confused that was you. I played a full game with someone else :b. yea that's fine or play whenever. it's asynchronous right? starting that game with you seems to have fixed all the other ones do thanks!
It is async, but I started the game randomly with you .... feel free to invite me anytime. Just expect a slow game for the next two days (real life is kind of busy now ...). Good everything works now! It is a fantastic game!
