I'm having trouble connecting to online games this evening. At the title screen, only 'Play Offline' and 'Menu' are lit up. Is this only me? I've tried force quitting the app and resetting my device but nothing.
Just got my a** handed by Dukester: 40+ lead on table and knocks almost all the mechna away... Turns out I do not lose that far. I am afraid one needs to read the whole thread and extract the tips scattered here and there. Yes, I hate those who created a game and either goes forfeit or never returns...
Well I forfeit, rarely, when it is clear I am hopeless as it would just waste tim of all layers. So far happened twice, once with duke and once with kk.
My problem is with those who join up a game but quit or never return after the 1 round. FPE, I knew I was doomed after watching you spelled out 10+ cards in a round and grab almost all the high points mechna constructs, plus 20+ points lead on table. Turns out it was a miracle I lost by less than 20 -- there must have been something about it...
Ah ah! I kne I had won, but I was sure it was not a huge distance .... I almost banished my self to death. I am playing lately too many games and often I mix them up.
I want in on the next one as well! I'm not in the 1st because I found out about it too late. Who's turn did it leave off on?
You guys can't be too loosey-goosey about tournaments, or they'll just fade away and die. I've played in four tournaments at BGG in the last 2-3 weeks alone. The differences seem to be: 1. Better organization; 2. A strong commissioner (or leader, or organizer, or whatever you want to call him). 3. Definitive time limits to finish games or multi-game matches. Those three things are a must. Otherwise, you're just kidding yourselves.
Agreed - the tournament seems dead in the water and nobody seems to be pushing for it to conclude. I'm out, so would really like to see the games finished so we can have another. I will look into the BGG ones. Do you have a link? I'm also anxious for this game to get the expansion and promo expansions. I recently got a copy of the promo expansion The Rat King and that's a fun little addition to the game.

I meant a link to the board game geek one. I suppose I should just look, eh? The TA one hasn't had a post since 8/8, since Camzy advanced to the non-existent finals. It appears to be dead.

If you guys are serious about doing it here, you need a new format and a commissioner who cares.
