Thanks, Art. You were crushing me. I was surprised as you were that I eeked out a win. I got a number of constructs the last few turns that put me over the top. Looking forward to our rematch.
Those four-player games ... man, I don't know. They are fun, in a goofy sort of "grab whatever card is still left" way, but I'm not sure I can take them too seriously. Maybe it's different in a FTF setting, but playing asynch means I can't remember my own strategy, let alone what cards the other three guys have picked up. I know there's the log feature, but that's a bit tedious, to be frank. Or maybe I'm just playing in too many games ...
Had a few great games with cprloe lately. Just wanted to stop in and say thanks for the games bro, I know they haven't been the fastest games around as my notifications are really wonky in this game
Right back at you. I have enjoyed our games. We have had some close ones. We have another good one going. And no worries about the pace of the game. That's what asynchronous play is for.
I am not really sure about these 4-ways. They are so slow i never remember what i was thinking the round before.
Good game earlier! You must of been playing several because it showed you online...but your moves were delaying. Fun game regardless...
Good game Aaronius. I was pretty sure I had that but you had a great last turn. I've been considering the merits of the Tablet lately. I'm starting to think it's not worth it unless you've got significant power waiting in hand. In order for it to be worth it, you have to get at least 7 points from your additional turn. You bought the card for 5 points, you lose 2 innate value by banishing it, and then there's the turn you waste putting it in your construct deck. It's also important to play it towards the end game considering you'll have better cards to make full use of it. It does come in handy in certain instances, and definitely better with a fully banished hand, but in more cases than not, especially if you're chasing a game, it could lose you the match.
Good game. You had a huge honor edge that I just couldn't make up with the value of my constructs. And yeah, I have WAY too many games going at once. I know I lose some strategy edge by doing that, but I can't stop playing.
How many games on average do you guys play at once? I've only done one at a time myself. Hope to see you out there!
thanks too.. haha. i dunno, lately i have been loosing a steady stream of games.. i wonder what happened. everybody got better or am i getting worse? anyway, it's not about winning everytime anyway good games guys
I draw the line at two screens. I can usually remember how my two-player games are going. Three-player games, I usually have to take a minute to look around and see if anything jogs my memory. Four-player games ... yeah, I just wing it.
Ya I share the same sentiment regarding the Tablet. It only comes in handy near the end-game. Nowadays I tends to skip it more frequently as I don't find the pay-off worthwhile.
I agree with this. I don't think the value is worth the cost. I usually grab something else instead. Dukester just crushed me in a game. He ended up with 10-12 constructs, including most of the big ones.
Yeah, I agree. They just play out too slowly. Another unrelated issue - I really hope the devs get multitasking and persistent server connection (maybe with an option for how long to maintain) in there in a future update. It's a bit annoying having to back out to the main menu, then sign in again every 10-60 minutes to take one turn.
