yep, that was me.... didn't do much for me, i had like only 2 mecha construct.. until later where i have 1 or 2 more I forgot.
Just had another great game with currymutton.. This is one of the rare games whereby you enjoy the process regardless of win or loss. Really hope the developers will update it with multi-tasking and add the expansion soon.
finally started on the 4 man showdown... sorry didn't notice that till just now... took my turn. let the mayhem begin!!!
I know .... I did not realize and now i am playng a few since the baby is sleepless and playing knizia money too (forgot how nice this also is).
wow, Camzee.. i really don't like how that last game turn out... LOL..... smoked... uuuuuhhhhh need..tooo....seeek.....revenge...... *stand on a corner contemplating*
Wow that last game was insane. I absolutely killed it. 113 points! Best I've ever gotten in a competitive match. Sorry kitkeat you had to be on the end of that walloping!
yeah I know, proud to contribute to your achievements.. man, i dunno how that went... u just simply take those constructs away from me like candies from little girl.... sigh
The key unit in that game was the first one I picked: Runic Lycanthrope. It hurt you really bad. Every time it came on, the Snap Dragon gave me +1 honor, and usually, I got lucky too and got Fly Trap Witch or Shaman before it, so it gives +2, +2. The game was practically over after the 2nd turn. Getting Lycanthrope + Snap Dragon over the first two turns is practically unbeatable. You could have used the Seer of the Forked Path better. It's one of the better cards in the game. Being able to banish what's on the board is a great power and allows you to tailor the board to suit your own strategy or to ruin your opponent's.
Starting to realize some of the finer strategic elements of this game. - Order of playing cards - Banishing center row cards - Deck cycling The order in which you play cards can often be very important. Playing a burrower before a rocket courier, playing a lifebound unit before a runic lycanthrope etc. Banishing center row cards has obvious tactical value. Banish cards your opponent needs. You'll get better at deciding what to banish the more you play. Deck cycling. Temple Librarian is one of the best cards in the game because it cycles through a deck faster than any other card. Just as those units move your hand quickly, cards like Druids do the opposite and slow you down. It's a lot more strategic than many players give it credit for.
Any word on if 'Return of the Fallen' will be included in an update? @Camzy/FPE I sent you a GC request for Ascension.
Burrower and Rocket Corrier won't actually do anything no matter what order you play them in during the same turn. Can only draw one extra card from Burrower. Burrower is one of my favorite cards however.
That's incorrect. If you play the rocket courier before the burrower, you don't draw even one card! The burrower only kicks in for the FIRST mechana construct. You have to play the burrower before the rocket courier.
