I've discovered the best way to play Ascension offline. 2 player game, best AI, Immortal Heroes and all the promo packs. I lost 3 games in a row to the AI once and each game is really interesting and engaging. I've played over 3000 games and have 2000+ wins, and I'm losing to the AI here in the odd game. A rune heavy approach works, an infantry approach works, and there are some amazing combinations, not to mention a chance to try out Cetra, Guide of Ogo often. I'm willing to take on any of you good folks too, so just invite me! Immortal Heroes + all promo packs. Trust me on this one!
Lol yep - we're already connected on GC, and I think we've played before. Funny - I've been playing someone with the GC name of currymutton, but I guess that's not you.
Twice now my opponent has killed the Ender of Days, and I still won (by at least 10 points too). So I'm starting to think that card isn't as scary as it seems. It is a pretty cool card though, and there's something to be said for the feeling of destroying it (well I can only assume since I have yet to do it).
Found a bug with Soul Collector in conjunction with Nethersnare. If you defeat a monster under Nethersnare, you don't get the token applied to SC (NS states that defeating monsters under it is like defeating them from the center row).
Dang currymutton, that's twice now you've taken what I was going to get right before I got it. First the rat king, now Kythis. :-/

Most definitely! The expansions are actually better than the original set. The promos aren't really necessary, but they add a little variety and fun.
OMG Camzy, I wish I could see the look on your face when you watch my next turn. I just earned over 50 honor in points alone - probably another 30 or so in cards. Completely drained my deck many times over and almost drained the center deck. All thanks to Orb of Nyx. Most epic turn ever! Ha, makes up for all the recent games you won.
I was totally going to comment on here on what an epic turn that was but forgot to comment on it til now. I still remember it clearly. Unbelievable turn. Rat King + Orb of Nyx is brutal. I think you got enough honor to win a whole other game in just that one turn. Edit: Also what do you think of this set? IH + all promos? I love it. It can throw up some awesome scenarios like that one while maintaining a relatively small card pool. It also takes some getting used to (you need to play it differently to other games/sets!) accounts for all the games I beat you in.
Hey Camzy sorry I don't own the promos I know you've been wanting to play that for a while! Just feel like it's not worth it with the game shutting down.
Has anyone gotten into the game since around 1 pm Eastern time?? Beginning to wonder if the server is down!
Anyone else have problem with major slowdowns in mid game that lasts the rest of the game? Had it sine last utdatert :/
Ascension crashing if Gamecenter isn't set up? I am running the latest version of Ascension version 1.5 and I have turned off Gamecenter. When I start the app, Ascension crashes and boots to the home screen of the iPhone. If I turn Airplane Mode on, Ascension won't crash. When I log myself in under Gamecenter, Ascension stops crashing. Is Gamecenter necessary in order to function? I had to log into Gamecenter in order to restore my purchases for Ascension, otherwise the app would crash before I had a chance to enter the menu for in-app purchases. I only want to play offline mode for this game, and I don't see the need for Gamecenter to be available to play this game. Gamecenter seems to be the culprit of the crashing, do I need it to be active in order to run this game OFFLINE?
