Do you know it's because of any logic the creators of the game went by? Such as, they believed that the first player should've taken the advantage of going first better, etc? (Just an example, just wanting to know why they believe the win should belong to the last player of the turn order).
First person generally has a small advantage of being able to pick first, so the second player gets to have the small(er) advantage of winning ties.
I think the actual rule is that if you take the last of the honor points in the pool (thereby giving your opponents one last round to gain points) and only tie, then you lose. The thought being that if you are causing the game to end you should be far enough ahead in honor to win, so anything other than a win is a loss
Both posts sound valid enough to fault the players not being last in the turn order. Thanks for responding. I'd figure in some way that it might be the first player's fault somehow.
Just had a really amazing/strange game. The final score was 74-73 to me. But the in-game honor points were 22-45. I finished the game with 10 constructs lol.
No, the rule is as I described it above. It does not revolve around how the game ends, but how it begins. Specifically: "If multiple players have the same number of Honor Points, the last player to start his first turn wins." Page 11 of the rulebook.
Good game reKirts. My super aggressive void strategy worked well since I banished all your constructs mid-game.
Depends on the opening board. Good chance the first player to move gets a really good card. And gg camzy. Gotcha back the game after though. First game I thought I could control the board with my draw 1 banish one from centre and keep the monsters off, obviously didn't work as planned even though I had three of them!
lol just played a guy who got way too aggressive with banishing units. He burned all his apprentices and was left at the end of the game with: Shade Of The Black Watch x2 Heavy Infantry x10 Militia x2 Apprentice x3 I won 88-46. He beat me 3 times in a row previously, but obviously, this strategy flatout doesn't work!
I think I've found a bug =(. well it does it to me anyway Games that I've forfeited disappear as they should but then come back into the game list some time later! I just then "watched" the games play out this time (yeh some players keep playing even if your not playing, I've done that once before). Then I just let the game play as far as they played it And then forfeited again. Let's see if that worked Anyone else had this?
Ahahah! I instead did a new experiment .... played a game (with a TA fella), that I lost, while driving my car
but honestly. The banish heros are great but sometimes if you take them early and are unlucky (you get only attack cards in your hands and no monsters on the table) .... they kill you! Not like playing while driving though I wonder who it is, griffin something I think was the name. Who is it?
yo guys, good games I had with a bunch of people here.. awesome games indeed. most are close ones.. still looking forward to more games but job has taken a toll on me, hopefully you guys don't mind if you didn't get any response from me just yet... i'll be sure to pick up where i left out. Just wanted to point out 1 more thing, sometimes during some games, it would go haywire i think mainly because d/c or lost of synchronization between the 2 parties that when i press end turn, immediately it gives me a next turn, and on and on till i finished collecting all the honor points, i'm not sure if the other party experienced that before or not so far it happened to 2 of my game sessions already...
This happens when the opponent forfeited the game. For whatever reason, you still get to play to the end, but alone.
Kitkeat, we understand that you have to maintain a job, myself included so it's understandable that your not going to be playing cards 24/7 Now this endless turn scenario you talk about is actually normal. It happens when someone forfeits the game. This is just what happens. To confirm, you'll see the name of the player in the top left is red. Also if you didn't notice, there's a small light next to the players name in the top left and it indicates if tier online or not. This game does push notifications so no big deal...but it's just handy to tell if the player is in the app. Really I think players forfeiting needs to be re-thought about how it is handled.
