Does anyone else here have Ascension: Rise of Vigil (physical version, of course)? If you Kickstarted Ascension Online you could get RoV early, or if you were at PAX East you could buy it there. I Kickstarted and picked up at PAX. I'm curious what others think of it. It's fun, but I'm a little worried that Energy is a bit too valuable. It feels like if you can't get Energy/Treasure early and your opponent does, you're kind of screwed. But I've only played it twice so far so it's hard to say for sure. It is fun, in any case. I talked to a lady at PAX that was demoing the game and she recommended using 25 Treasure cards instead of 30. I will try that next time and see how that plays out.
I dont have the physical RoV, but the preview cards that we saw from the KS gave me a nerd boner. Boinggg!

Sorry TA lost my first game to Pacman1477 69-52, pretty stinky game there were no good cards no constructs at all. Just we're using cards to gain honor mainly
Nice game JCman7. I think you lost that one when you went for the shadowcaster over the Stone Circle on turn 3. Normally I would totally agree with that choice, but that let me pair up the Stone Circle with the two great omen ravens, which is a great easy point combo. Beaten by Ananab Tilps 105-94 and beaten by Justin Fletcher 85-72 I have much to learn I am getting schooled by both you guys here and now Qt3 I seem to always have good starts to games but just can't seem to finish it off. But if someone challenges you using one of these combos, and you don't mind using them, feel free to accept! Otherwise, just decline, and rechallenge. Q: What timer should we use? A: A 7 day timer would be best, although the hope is to be finished within a week. Q: Who reports the results? A: Both winner and loser should report the results in their respective home forum. Please report scores along with results! Q: But who wins? A: The total win/loss record of each side will determine which forum wins. Ties will be decided by tossing out each players highest and lowest point differential, then judging by average point differential. Q: And then there is no hope for the vanquished? A: Indeed there is hope! The top three players from each team (ties broken as described above) will be pitted against each other one-to-one.
