Hey guys, we are getting ready for the interforum tourney as well! First though, we have to get our team ready. There are 16 ppl currently interested on the TA side. Since we are trying to get down to 12, I planned to sit out from this side and hopefully qualify on the Qt3 side (I did!). One indicated he will probably have to sit out, leaving 14. Qwertjx is actually leading in the Qt3 league and qualifies on that side as well. If he plays on Qt3, then we would have 13 from the TA side. As well, Emos is pushing hard for a top 12 spot from Qt3, and we may have 12 left here then. My goal is to have everybody who expressed interest on the TA side to play, and Qt3 would rly like to keep it to a 12 v 12 if possible. I have posted the same thing on Qt3 as well! Qwertjx, let us know what you think as well. I'll ask what the format of the tourney might look like. Artfoundry is the captain on the TA side and Ananab Tilps (Dave Perkins in Qt3) is the captain on the Qt3 side and I am the decently neutral liaison, I hope. Should be a rly good competitive tourney, from what Ive seen from all u guys on TA! Do you know how many GC points most of you guys have compared to Qt3??
Actually i would prefer playing over at TA side since i've been here way longer, but if there's insufficient slots here, i don't mind playing over at QT3 side and everyone gets to play, let's see how it goes for Emos over at the QT3 league first Anyways, ur the boss! U call the shots =P

This is the tourney format in mind, by the way. Two groups of six from each side play each other (so each person plays six games). Best win/loss total determines the "winner", but then the top three players from each side play one-on-one, and if the "losing" side wins all three of those games, they steal victory!

Hey pjft and Emos, Im hoping you guys can finish up the round by today! For everybody, heres a mini plan for the next two weeks. I'm sure the guys waiting for the interforum tourney must be wondering when it starts, because we talked about early March. Im hoping we can start around March 9th. This will give us time to try to finish our 4 Swiss qualifer rounds for our February touney, so that we have as little overlap as possible between te February tourney and the March tourney. Hope that sounds okay to everyone, peace.

It will, effectively, determine the winner, since in case of it becoming a draw, I'll default for the purposes of this round of the tournament Only if I win, which will make it winning 2 out of 3, will I get the victory. -- good game so far, Emos!
Alright, thanks for the update Pjft and Emos. We have one last matchup that's currently in Game 3. Do you guys think we can finish Round 3 by Monday/Tuesday? Since we used all 3 decks for the first two rounds, it seems that we will keep the 3 decks throughout the tourney~
By all means, it was definitely a close one! You were getting so many constructs that I had no idea who would end up ahead Thank you for the match! @ironcub14: This is definitely the time where I'll happily concede my spot here for some of the people in the waiting list that would want to play some warmup matches here. It's more than proven that I cannot accommodate that - after all, I played 2 matches in the past 10 days, with Emos, so hoping to finish the full round is overly optimistic in any case. I definitely appreciate all concessions everyone has made to try and make it possible for me to play so far, but in the end it's really something that I'll be slower than the average in getting to. By all means, I had a great time, and I am not leaving with any resentment here. I certainly hope that I'm not being misinterpreted here, or causing anyone to feel angry or resented as well. Anyone who's not currently in this tournament wants to take up my place? I have 1 victory and 1 defeat so far, though the purpose would probably be more to play some matches in a tournament before the bit Qt3 vs TA showdown Cheers!
(hand raised) I am not sure that whether I am still in the early Feb tourney or not. Honestly I don't mind I am no longer in, since I am a filler anyway. I am glad that I take the opportunity and find more really good hands to play regular games. Thanks all.
Hey curry, I think I replied to this before, you are still in! Everybody plays four Swiss rounds, and we've only played two. To make the playoffs, you need to finish the four Swiss rounds with a 4-0 or 3-1 record. Since you are 1-1, you are still in the hunt for the playoffs. Hope this helps.
