It's really good, I play offline all the time and it's quite challenging on the 2nd difficulty. I say this is the best cardgame on the platform, hands down (especially the Storm of Souls expansion). So grab it now, for a dollar it's a steal.
Thunderstone and Dominion might have been served up as duds but you can always count on Playdek and Ascension
Does the Ascencion have a campaign? Bought it + all the expansions. But all I do = play all, click the cards I want, and kill de red cards. winning everytime, and that's it.. kinda borring if you ask me. Unless I am missing something here Oh I am playing offline.
Play online, asynchronously, with any of us here! Also, there's a bit more strategy to the game. I'd poke around this thread for some great discussion on strategy. "Play All" should only be used a couple of times per game in very specific instances!
THIS. I only use play all in the beginning if the game until I start building cards that require me to watch the order of cards I play
Hi all, I saw this game is on sale ( and so are the expansion packs) and I am interested on buying it, but I have a few questions: - can you build your own deck? ( eg. Shadow Era or YuGiOh, which I used to play and I loved it) - are the expansion sets a big advantage when you play online or are they optional? I ask this question because i see that an IAP only includes 6 cards, so I'm wondering if they're overpowered... - if I liked Shadow Era or Yugioh, will I like this? (or other similar card games, which involve deck building)

I guess he is not playing much anymore. We are having 3-players game. A 2-player game invitations were not accepted
I think he's taking a break to concentrate on Summoner Wars. I suspect he will be back when the new expansion gets released.
Yeah that's right. I'm only accepting a few multiplayer games now. I find Summoner Wars has a certain depth like Chess which Ascension doesn't have so I'll be spending my time with that rather than Ascension until the new expansion comes out.
I would suggest go with online multiplayer since so many players out there. The async multiplayer is great too
